No in all seriousness I cant drink any more, not for a good while until they are sure my blood is uncontaminated from the infection I had to fight off and all my joints and things return to some sense of normality.

Oh, well... had my own share of that stuff a couple of years ago, (including not being allowed to drink for almost a year) and at one point, I thought there wasn't an end in sight, but ultimately, there was, and I'm still here. So, chin up. Life, lemons, lemonade and all that stuff. And keep sticking around; if anything, it'll momentarily take your mind off of things.

That's a shame if true, I feel like Retro Studios has so many more good games in there to make :/

Again, turbulence in development is nothing new for Retro. It's true that times are different now and then, but Nintendo doesn't really shut down any studios. The only thing that comes close to that is merging in-house studios like EAD together, which is just restructuring and not really shutting down.

Wouldn't surprise me if that rumoured Star Fox game is also in development hell just like the other rumoured horror game. Or perhaps it's been outsourced to Ubisoft and became part of the Starlink game. Whatever the case, Retro have tweeted.

@EvilLucario Exactly. And that is really all that I expect to come from this, in a worst case scenario.

Nintendo isn't that stupid that they would simply shut down a studio, and would let all the talent go. All the various specialists and programmers, quite a few of which have been instrumental in helping Nintendo with porting and optimizing of Nintendo's own titles.
