@Fizza very apt! They're apparently a Spanish couple who both chose Fuecoco as a starter. Honestly, leaks like that are my favourite, much more fun than a file dump. The frustration, the awful pictures, the sleep and smoke breaks ... Classic pre-release Pokémon season.
@Suicune Both have their place I think. Believe me when I say there will be a lot of dual-typed competitive viable Pokemon. Very few mono types in comparison. So Bellibolt and Cetitan are more exceptions than the standard.
These leaks are taking too long. If the Pokemon Company didn’t still insist on doing dual releases I would just order the game but now I have to wait for data dumps to see which game has which Pokes.

I haven't seen any of the posts in question so I don't know what they're like but I like to imagine they're just a normal couple excited to play one of their most anticipated games of the year early, documenting their playthrough as they go through....while clickbaiting Poketubers are frothing at the mouth that they're taking their time and not rushing to beat the entire thing in 5 hours while catching every single mon in the game so that they can start making their red text, arrow-filled thumbnails. .

There's a few that look too... mechanical and very un-Pokémon-like that I'm really not digging, but that could merely boil down to the art style of the 3D games.
As adorable as Fuecoco is, I really didn't like its final form, which I found to be awfully generic, but Sprigatito's final form is quite nice, and I'm probably go with that for my Violet run, but forego any starter Pokémon for my Scarlet run.
Porygon did nothing wrong.

Yesterday's trailer was great, but there's one thing that I want to focus on that was literally only shown on screen for about a second: the Scarlet and Violet Books.
According to the website, these books (which are version exclusive by the way) were penned by a group of explorers from years before who tried to plot an uncharted area of Paldea (which, judging by the region's map, seems to be the giant foggy centre). They show drawings, photographs and other tidbits about these Past VS Future mons, leading you to eventually find them and (presumably) catalogue them for the dex.
Now why am I bringing all this up? Because I don't trust this f***** for a SECOND now.
I've had my suspicions about Arven ever since the August trailer when his story path was revealed. It always seemed weird to me that the 'chef who sucks at battles' would be the main one associated with the 'Path of Legends' but I brushed it off at the time as him solely looking for the Herba Mystica. However, you're telling me this buck just happens to have a copy of a seemingly sacred book containing tons of mysteries surrounding the region itself?
OK yep: this guy's definitely about to stab me in the back. I'VE LEARNED FROM VOLO TO NOT TRUST PEOPLE WITH HAIR COVERING ONE EYE.
