In my opinion, being a Vtuber is shown some serious problem as human being in social life in Japan especially, like those peoples really keep the distance from social life interaction, choose to disguise their identity as virtual avatar. I know some peoples are not comfortable to deal with other peoples but in my opinion, there are a lot of serious symptoms of social life behavior in Japan that makes peoples become so disconnected in social life. From Hikikomori (social distancing), become Vtuber, boyfriend / girlfriend for rent, virtual idol like Hatsune Mikku, etc.

1. The title is 'Ghost-type Pokemon in the Paldea region?'. That's probably as big a tell you could ask for.
2. It seems to be a callback to Hisuian Zorua's trailer in multiple ways. A focus on Ghost-types, a researcher documenting their findings with a video camera, even the opening line is more or less the same (though I do like how this one is in the Shorts format due to being recorded on a phone in the modern day, that's genius). It even came out in late October, just like Zorua!
3 (and perhaps the strangest of all). Glitchxcity (a prolific Pokemon remixer) was sent this in the post a few days ago:

I'm hoping for another pokemon like Mimikyu, there's nothing that says creepy ghost pokemon better than when you have to watch it's neck get broken.

I think I know what the Pokemon their going to reveal.

@FroZtedFlake Considering how Gengar has been prominently shown off in both gameplay trailer and this one as the regular version? Highly doubt it. My guess (and I'm aware this is pretty dark but then again so was the Zorua trailer) is that the person behind the camera gets kidnapped and is taken to the lair of the new mon. That's my guess at least.

@jump Perhaps the most creative Pokemon we've ever gotten: literally a meta joke about how popular Pikachu has become as a mascot and resenting it because of it. It's basically how a lot of people feel about Charizard in the modern day....but with Pikachu. And it is brilliant. I've used one in a competitive Trick Room team in SwSh and god did it make setting up a breeze.

Here's hoping tomorrow's mon is even half as cool!
