@DarthNocturnal The friendship stuff just feels annoying in recent games, since they have to mention every few turns that your pokemon really loves and admires you. I just hope that Legends streamlines it like you said.

I'm really looking forward to this game! I've been playing Pokemon since gen 2 and I've always had a pretty good time with main series entries, but I am really excited to see the series moving in a new direction here. I'm sure we'll still see traditional entries too, but I like the idea of the series branching out and maybe having Legends work alongside the traditional games.
The new preview footage looks great to me. I'm a Monster Hunter fan, so it's cool to see Pokemon drawing inspiration from its structure and applying it in a way that still feels unique and fitting with Pokemon's style. I'm excited to see detailed customization return too, of course; it was cool having it to some degree in BDSP, but it was way more limited there than in the last few games with the feature. I'm happy to see more detailed options here. I'm still not sure what starter I plan on using, but I think it's cool that they're bringing in starters from three different generations to shake things up. I don't think I've done a full playthrough with any of the ones here, so they'd all feel new to me. I'm thinking maybe Rowlett, though part of me wants to try Cyndaquil now that it's not competing with my favorite Pokemon evolution line of all time (Totodile) for a spot on my team. I've still got a couple weeks to decide at least.

@chipia gyms in map with one Town and some settlements, looks like you didn't got message that it takes around 200 years ago from current Pokémon ages. But there is ranking from 0 to 10 Starts to be able access more. And for months Trainer Battles was first revealed, so there is Trainer Battles.

@chipia Gyms are replaced by Noble pokemon battles. There's some trainer battles, but they're not as many as previous games, with us seeing warden fights in a trailer. The experience mostly aims to really shift the goals and stuff from past games in the series, doing what Sun and Moon set out to do more effectively.

This is a cool trailer, but the thing that makes me a bit worried is how empty the world seems to be. Like, aside from some trees and a few pokemon, there seems like there's nothing out there.

@Snatcher I actually looked into it, since something didn't seem entirely right with me whilst watching the video, and I just realized that this isn't even actual gameplay. The lighting is entirely different from the final game, and so are textures, the tall grass, and some of the pokemon models.

@Pizzamorg It seems like they did. What's weirder was that the official channel didn't post it. It was the Anime channel. They could've posted it either too early, or released the video on the wrong channel.

I just wonder how many people were like me and thought it to be legit gameplay of the game, but with a weird dev camera trick, and will make videos bashing the game.

Yep. the games are leaking. I'm probably going to go as dark as I possibly can, so I don't see more than I already have. The only things I really wanted to see are the evolutions for the starters, just to verify if they're the same or not.

You can try blocking some channels that cover alot of pokemon content and are popular and for ones you do get recommended you can just select the option "don't recommend this channel".
But I guess avoiding youtube altogether is probably the easiest solution.
@iLikeUrAttitude Yeah, I have a ton of the bigger channels that spoil games outright blocked now, since I did that in 2019 when Sword and Shield got leaked. I also stopped following people like TyranitarTube for the time being, and I'll probably unsub from Arlo as well, just to avoid it.
