@Fizza paras just seems excessively angry to me. Like did a human burn your nest? Why are you always just kill on sight? Seems like a lot for a bug.

Yeah Paras is strangely numerous and aggressive!

And has anyone had Sealeos appear in space time distortions? Those jerks spot you immediately even if you're hiding in tall grass!

@Ryu_Niiyama @Eel I don't have the ability to speak on this matter because:
1. I really don't think he's that bad.
and
2. I just caught a random Shiny one 2 days ago while looking for Abra and I've fallen in love with my shiny Parasect.

I do love the idea of the mushroom on shiny Parasect back just being a giant gangster fedora though.

So I took a break from the game for probably the best part of a week, I mean I say that but I really thought I was mostly done with the game, honestly. However, it's been bugging me that I got so far and then just hit this wall and gave up.

As such, I decided to come back and have another crack, do some battles in town to get some extra levels and try again.

Sadly, I'd love to come back here triumphant, but I'm still not there yet, although I did have my best run at this yet. I think I'm almost there.

I made it to the real boss with three Pokémon still somewhat intact now, but it's still not enough. That Pokemon's speed plus their ability to force you to miss is just so brutal, I go down to my last Pokémon, my last drop of HP, one hit and it's almost all over and then my attack magically misses and they kill me instead. So infuriating I have to fight to not snap my Switch in half.

On the positive, just the few levels really made a big difference though, the first time I tried I made it through just the opening round with basically one Pokémon on its last legs left, for context.

So maybe another round of battles in the town and I might finally be strong enough to best this. Hell of a grind though and Lost Ark goes live tomorrow, so might take another week or two break again first. But I think I'm almost there.

I’ve been distracted trying to catch everything and completing requests that I haven’t advanced much at all in the post game.

On the bright side, I finally caught a Cherubi, and evolved my Ursaring.

I managed to get a shiny Tangela from an outbreak just there without even needing to reset so that was rad. Can't think of a name though, any suggestions?
