@JaxonH Fair point about arlo, but even tho he is a big critic, he knows where to give a game its points, even if it isn't one he likes, he even said he stopped scoring videos because its so subjective.
Nintendo are like woman, You love them for whats on the inside, not the outside…you know what I mean! Luzlane best girl!

@Snatcher
The thing I don’t like about Argo is how he makes excuses for certain franchises. For example Pikmin 3 and paper Mario color splash. His excuse for pikmin not selling well was that it released on the Wii U. But even though paper Mario released on the Wii U in 2016 when the Wii U was dead and people only cared about the switch ( or NX as it was called at that time) he didn’t even mention that in his paper Mario review. He just acted like it had a fair shot but pikmin didn’t. Now I get pikmin is better but he needs to be consistent with things like that.

@blindsquarel oh yeah, definitely. Swtchforce is the bane of my existence in terms of video game content. Always putting his face in thumbnails, and using clickbait titles that outright lie to his fanbase. Somehow, he still has a fanbase despite that though, and I honestly don't get it. It's a shame too, since the channel used to be nice. He used to have his friends on there when it first started, and they made quality content about the first year of the system. Eventually those friends kinda left, and he was left alone with the channel, turning it into the awful landscape that it is now.

@blindsquarel Yeah, at least that I'm aware of. I saw some of his Animal Crossing videos and it amazes me how people tolerate the constant clickbait. He was also annoying.
Hey guys, what do you think about the Hisuian forms? Honestly I have been having a hard time liking many new Pokemon since generation 7. These forms aren't terrible for the most part, but I don't think that I like any of them more than their normal versions. Well, I suppose that I prefer this Samurott but the change is minimal. Maybe they'll grow on me once I play the game.
With Hisuian forms, I kinda noticed that as well. The forms have more minimal changes in comparison to the forms in Galar, where you can tell they're mostly pretty unique. There's a few with drastic changes, but it feels like Hisuian forms are supposed to be more nuanced than the other regions, given the era the game takes place in.

A lot of folk complain about that every gen and a lot of the times it feels like they just aren’t familiar enough with them yet.
I thought there were some great Pokes in gen 8 myself. The Applin, Grapploct and Dragapult lines in particular are some of my favourite pokes in the series.
@jump I usually enjoy many designs from different generations but gen 8 was quite disappointing for me. It was unexpected because I loved the 3 starters when they were revealed. A fire bunny/ hare was something that I was expecting for a long time but it's evolutions weren't as good as scorbunny.
Aside from that, gen 4 and 5 were also a bit weak for me but there were still plenty of Pokemon designs that I enjoyed. 6 was great for me since it gave me Hawlucha, Greninja Noivern and Charizard Y.
That being said I still enjoy discovering them and I don't hate on any generation regardless of that. They have their charm even if they aren't my thing.
@roy130390 I loved Hawlucha too, it was a regular on my team for ages. Every gen there's at least 4 pokes I really like and try to build teams around so if there's only one new Poke I want to try to included in a workable team then I'd be worried.
Sometimes they do grow on you though, I remember how unimpressed people were with Klefki and initially I thought it was meh too. But then I saw it's actually the greatest Pokemon ever. It looks stupid, it's not powerful but it has a movepool to basically make it an uber so it's made everyone hate it and for that reason alone it's now one of my favourites to troll people with. I don't even care about winning with it, I just love how angry people get when I throw it into a battle! lol
@Fizza What a depressing thought, my hard working Typhlosion is now dead.
I'm considering picking this game up for my 7 (almost 8) year old son, but it's not available in our language and he can't read English. Would he be able to play without reading if I help him along a bit?
@Klabanus Hard to say. There are a lot of items and side quests in this game.
It's not a reading-intensive game, though, and any of the 'out in the field' gameplay should be fine, but you might want to explain to the boy what important items do and some basic menu prompts he'll encounter throughout the game.
Most quests have location markers set up, so he'll probably be able to figure those out.
I'd say it's probably fine if you can read certain lines for him when possible, or explain certain descriptions.

Can I just say how much I love Kleavor? I remember seeing it when it was revealed and just being like 'Cool, neat' and moving on with my life. But after using one in PLA (not on my main team but as a backup), it is soooo good. It's such an obvious thing to do with a game set in the past, changing the evo of a Pokemon whose evolution is modern into something that's old and rustic, but the execution in game is so damn good. Can't wait to bring it into HOME once that comes out for PLA and BDSP.
