The clothing items are automatically given by the clothier as soon as you are able to talk to her. Just in case anyone else is curious.

This has been a fun read today lol. I'm at 5 stars now and the snow area( forgot what it's called). I truly have been enjoying every minute. You know I'm enjoying it and drinking in every last drop when the destination marker is one way, and I go the complete opposite way to just explore.

This gets me so excited even though it is never happening haha

So I did the event Darkrai quest and caught it, then I made my way to Shaymin. I was so in awe and just taking in the surroundings that it RAN AWAY. I had forgotten to save so I was all the way back where I booted up the game. 40 minutes wasted, I want to die. Thankfully, the quests reset if you reset so I can still get both which is very handy. (Also, if you were going to tell me that I could've come back for it, just don't. OK? Just don't. I'm too salty to look anyway).

EDIT: Sorry if this came off as a-holish, I'm just really annoyed right now, hope this is alright with the mods.

I wasn't ready for shaymin when I did that one. I thought "hey it will be easy it's shaymin" but it did not go down without a battle, the little jerk...

@Pizzamorg The thing is, No amount of grinding really will make it easier. You just have to use grit items on pokemon to bump up stats, or use one of the Legendaries to help whilst stocking up on max revives.

Cynas

@Pizzamorg I didn't grind or use Grit at all for that fight. I just mostly used the legendaries that you get right before the battle, and they were at the same level you catch them at (65-70). My team was Cresselia, Dialga, Palkia, Regigigas, Heatran, and Zoroark. Took a few tries but still managed to do it. If you're still struggling there's always XP candy, which you can either buy or easily farm them by catching/defeating alphas. You could also use Grit as Void mentioned.

@Pokester99 I said it was fine you dislike the game, so maybe if you read what I said you would have saw that. But in my opinion, I would say we did, they didn’t mention online once sooo.

But your not wrong for thinking what you thought, not at all, I also said I was assuming I thought you knew, so I even said that, so idk what your problem is, to the point your getting so rude, I have been civil.

Edit: Ya, I wheat back and checked, I said it was probably a lot of assuming on my part, and that you might have known any of that, to which you just told me, so idk why your acting like I have been disregarding what you’ve said, i haven’t, nor did I act like you couldn’t have an opinion, and I’m sorry if I somehow made you feel that way.

The trailers made it clear that it was about the pokedex though. The initial reveal trailer and website legit said the goal of the game was to make the first pokedex of the Sinnoh Region. @Pokester99

@Pokester99 Pokémon thrower simulator is a opinion for one, two, the trailers did say it was about the Pokédex, or maybe it was the gameplay showcases.

I really do want to know what you mean by me discredit your opinion, I just don’t agree with it, it’s your opinion, how do I discredit a opinion, I can understand invalidate, but discredit? It’s an opinion, idk how I can make you think anything else, I’m defending my opinion as much as you have been yours, and so has everyone else.

@Pokester99 I mean, to be fair, people had that impression you got it fully hating it before you played it, all because of how you were pretty much ragging on it since the announcement.

"It is fate. Many have tried, yet none have ever managed to escape it's flow."

VoidofLight

@Pokester99 The website emphasized it pretty well.

"It is fate. Many have tried, yet none have ever managed to escape it's flow."

Snatcher

@Pokester99 pretty much what void said, your were hating on it before you even played the game, hell. You even complained about not getting to catch arceus, which I thought was odd because, well… but that was just my opinion of you I, thought you were a troll, I thought you didn’t play the game, and yes now I think you got a game you knew you might have not, liked, which to be fair you were probably trying something new, that’s good, but if, if, that’s what you did, you and you alone put yourself at a big risk of not, liking the game, not saying you did that. But all that I said, was just what I said, didn’t make any of it fact.

It’s not like I didn’t have reasons for thinking what I thought tho.

Edit: And you said I’m pinning the lackluster gameplay on you, which again, is a opinion, to me, it kinda sounds like your saying it’s fact, to me anyway, that’s just how I think you come off.

In short, what void said.

@Pokester99 I am going to be harsh, but truthful to you right now. You do not seem to understand the game mechanics in their fullness, and your assumptions are probably making it unenjoyable for you. Most Pokedex entries can be filled out through fighting Pokemon and raising one of that species. The fighting is there. Not only that, but there are challenging Pokemon to engage in battle with (alphas). Yes, progress is tied to exploration and interacting with the world. That is what we call a gameplay feedback loop. Pokemon has diminished in this area for several generations now. For the most part, recent Pokemon games do not give you an incentive to make use of the gameplay mechanics. You could skip most trainers on several routes and still be in the ballpark of where you want your levels to be against the gym leaders. The games have been trivial. Now we get a Pokemon game that actually works as a proper game, that forces you to work hard and make use of its systems and partake in a gameplay loop, and you are upset about that?
