@Gravitron No way it's going to lose its Psychic typing to be replaced by Fire and Fairy. Given the hint at the end of the stream that Rapidash will be a pegasus, it's possible to be Psychic/Flying. Although often there are Pokemon that can fly that aren't Flying, so who knows? I think that losing the Psychic typing is off the table, though.

I think fairy is perfectly ok for a winged creature. But I wouldn't mind flying.

@Harmonie ooh good point. And it makes a lot of sense. It's a toss up between Psychic/Fairy or Psychic/Flying. Depends on if Rapidash has wings at that point

@Harmonie Galarian Ponyta has a horn, so when it will evolve to Rapidash it probably keep a horn. And if it gets wings as well then the horse creature with horn and wings are known as Alicorn, because Pegasus doesn't have a horn.

psychic would be better, fairy type is too OP, fairy type is the new dragon type. either way though, sirfetched is at a disadvantage, especialy if it gets flying as a secondary type.

Seems no one here knows why Galarian ponyta is psychic instead of fairy.
Let me explain, in british/arthurian folklore unicorns heal poison, fairy types are weak to poison types, poison types are weak to psychic types.

Now it makes sense right? 😂

I wonder if with Little Town Hero launching on Wednesday, we'll get lots of Sword/Shield info starting the following week.

@Grumblevolcano That would be great. At least i expect them to show us the middle evolution of the starters before release. I mean, i love Sobble but, if it turns into something i dont like, i can change my decision.

I kinda dont want to know anything about the starter evolutions for the first time since Gen 3. I dont know how I would possibly avoid if they released anything. I just like the surprise and will never forget how excited I was when Charmeleon evolved into a Dragon or how disappointed when Combusken evolved into some weird looking lady-chicken.

@Gravitron Blaziken was one of rhey first gen 3 Pokemon revealed. It even appeared in the Johto anime if I recall correctly.

Anyway, I'd love it if they didn't reveal more than we currently know.

It would be a nice change to go into the game not knowing what the starters look like. I'd also like not knowing anything about the real antagonists. I seriously doubt Team Yell are actually the bad guys. If anything, I can see them getting used by real bad guys.

There was a leak saying the starter evo’s will be revealed in a trailer the day the game releases. If that’s true that would be great. It’s easier to avoid spoilers if you already have the game, temptations will be much less tempting.

What is your prediction of starter evolution looks ?
I imagine Grookey will looks like Forest Gorilla, Scorbunny will looks like Fire Striker Bunny, Sobble will looks like Water Poison type Basilisk.

I'm gonna go with Grookey as a grass/rock Cricket player, Scorbunny as a fire/flying Association Football player, and Sobble as a water/fighting Rugby player.
