Noctowl would certainly be a good choice. A personal favorite of mine, I hope they tweak it enough to make it actually viable. I even made a competitive one in gen 6/7, it makes a decently solid low tier special wall.

@Heavyarms55 Yea I think Noctowl has a pretty good chance. Always liked Hoot-Hoot and Noctowl. I would love to see different galarian dragons as well but I doubt that would happen

@Gravitron I could see at least one happening. I mean doesn't the UK have a bunch of traditional stories about knights and dragons?

@Heavyarms55 I'm from Detroit but from what I understand yes of course. That's why I included Owls(Noctowl) and Bulldogs(Snubbull). I just think the dragons wouldn't happen because all of them are pretty powerful as is. I see the different forms as a way to shine light on less popular Pokemon. The dragons would not meet that criteria. If they had to give one dragon the Galar treatment it would be Druddigon for me

@Gravitron That's a fair point. I could see something like Druddigon or Flygon getting an alternate form though. Both of them have pretty lackluster stats.

@Heavyarms55 I edited my comment after you posted that. Druddigon seems like a solid choice and I kind of think it's going to happen now. Druddigon is like the weird outlier dragon with no evolution chain.

@Gravitron There's also that other Dragon in Sun and Moon. I forget its name because I always just called it Grandpa because it looks like it has a long white beard.

@Heavyarms55 Drampa I believe. I just wouldn't expect any Sun and Moon Pokemon getting new forms. But yea you are correct he doesn't have an evolutionary chain either.

@Gravitron Yeah, and now that I looked him up I remember he has a counterpart in the other game, Turtonator that is also a dragon type. But I have to say, he really doesn't look like a Dragon, which is probably why I forgot about him.

Yeah gen 7 Pokemon are probably the least likely to get Galarian forms, but I am not ruling it out entirely. Personally I'd like to see at least one gen 2 Pokemon and at least one gen 5 Pokemon get Galarian forms.

Sentret always seems like a Unova pokemon to me for some reason.

I like Sentret and Furret but they did kinda suck. Very cute but they really had nothing else going for them until 4th gen added sucker punch. And when the best thing you have going for you is a non-stab conditional priority move and a cute design? You have a whole lot of nothing. Still better than Patrat and Watchog, they aren't even cute.

Man, I am honestly really itching for these games. I've been holding off replaying the older titles because I don't want to overload on Pokemon right before the new games. Looking at the list of confirmed Pokemon so far has really done a lot to make me not mind the national Pokedex thing. Had they played favorites with gen 1, again, and we had mostly gen 1 and gen 8 Pokemon I'd have been much more annoyed.

I do hope we get a few more starters from other regions though, maybe at least one starter from each other gen. We know Charizard is there already, so my choices would be Cyndaquil, Mudkip, Piplup, Snivy, Froakie and Rowlett.
