Topic: One switch and two players on SuperMario Kart and online playing

Hello,

I have just bought Super Mario Kart de Luxe and two joy cons wheels for my daughter. I am wondering if is possible to play together in some way or you need two switches to do it?

Secondly is there some online multiplayer option? I mean playing agaisnt random people around the world?

You can play Mario Kart split screen in either docked or table top mode using the joycons. There is also online racing, but you would need to subscribe to the online service to access those modes.

@mrblue yes, you can both play on 1 switch with split screen - I think you can have 4 player sit screen if you have enough controllers

also, is possible to have it split on tv too?

is there a guide abot how doing it?

@mrblue you can play split screen when docked (which is probably the best option). select multiplayer from the main menu and it gives you the option to synch controllers for players (press L & R if I remember correctly).

@mrblue here's a video showing split screen multiplayer, which can be done in both TV, or in tabletop mode.

I would say if you end up getting a Nintendo Switch Online membership, just know that there are some very good people on online mario kart. So I would say if your not good, stay away from that but if you are good then go for it.
