I have been reading comments for last 2 days, as I have been in the same boat as many. Well it seem's my shipment was only done last night not thursday as the email claimed. So it won't be arriving till monday at the earliest. Nintendo uk have a lot to answer for.

Still no update on either the Nintendo store or Royal Mail. So left another message to the store asking for compensation all of us who have had problems, this is just stupid, even if they do deliver it now. It doesn't matter anymore as it is getting delivered to work so won't see it until Monday. But I still want an apology from them

@SammiiCake thank you I done what you suggested and Hermes confirmed they had my parcel and was being delivered between 10 and 12 and as said thank you the door knocked and it arrived. I suggest everyone do that same

@SquishySquish I did that too and they just told me they can't deal with it as it was Hermes, not myHermes, the tracking that he can see says it was left in outbuilding (which of course it wasn't). Still on hold to Nintendo, over 3 hours total now. I'm going to explode.

So my games have now arrived, but still no switch. The console would be handy as well.

Hmm mine still says "Outward RDC Volumetric Acceptance" so I imagine it's Royal Mail who still have it, they just haven't sorted it yet. Maybe I'll try and confirm with them if they have it.

@willhay108 I'd try again and see if you can get someone else. They certainly can do it, I got my tracking code from the myHermes online chat. The code itself is used on HermesWorld though.

@KageMaru They have access to the same tracking as me through myHermes, but as for escalating a delivery that was apparently delivered they can't do much

@willhay108 Oh right sorry, I thought you were missing a tracking code. Well, good luck with getting through to Nintendo, you'll need it.

@MrAsmoday If you do, keep us updated what they say since mine says the same. I know mine isn't with Hermes for sure, so I'm pretty sure it'll still be with Royal Mail. I think this means that we won't get it until Monday though.

I've just used live chat and my Switch is with Hermes, they gave me a tracking number. Unfortunately I have to go to work soon as I took yesterday off, I still have a Royal Mail number on the Nintendo Store site.

I'll be returning it anyway now as I have one waiting at my local Tesco to pick up.

I've screenshots everything to compile a complaint over the weekend.

Just spoke to Royal Mail customer services and the guy on the phone was aware of problems with Nintendo Switch deliveries

I never drive faster than I can see. Besides, it's all in the reflexes.

@SammiiCake bad news. I rung Royal Mail and they said since they recieved it today on a non working day, we won't receive it until TUESDAY. I'm tempted to now try and buy a switch elsewhere and Zelda (if I even still can) and return it when I finally get it on Tuesday but I ordered the collectors edition and I still really want that and don't imagine I could return the just the switch if it's from the same order.

@MrAsmoday TUESDAY? What the hell.. Did you get that "Outward RDC Volumetric Acceptance" at like 1am today then? I'm okay-ish for now since I bought the WiiU version of Zelda too, so I'm just playing that, but by the time I get the Switch, I'm going to have probably nearly completed the story. I just can't believe what Nintendo are thinking, treating their customers like this...

@SammiiCake yeah same though at 2am. I don't even have that as I skipped the wiiu. I'll just have to wait but boy am I angry. I will definitely be damnding compensation and will not give up until it is received after this massive screw up. I was so excited for the switch for weeks, even months and now I feel even if I got it now, it would be hard to muster any excitement for it.

@MrAsmoday My exact thoughts, feel all my excitement for the Switch is gone now. If it wasn't for the fact I get a limited edition Zelda stuff with the Switch, I'll be tempted to send it back and just not own a Switch for a while until I feel like I need one.
