@SquishySquish you were right, they just left that message there instead of one telling me the opening times.

Called again at 8.35 was on hold for 50 mins before giving up. Would it kill them to sent a "we messed up, we will sort it and you will be compensated" email?

Read one guy on eurogamer is claiming to have got a 5% refund as eShop credit plus Zelda dl code. We all need to demand the same (or the equivalent if like me you already have Zelda waiting).

I was just told by Royal Mail that they haven't recieved the parcel it will be with them Monday now and I won't get it till Tuesday Wednesday, Fantastic Bloody loving this 😡

@SquishySquish I can't say for certain, but my friend said a similar thing in tracking (Was in the Pre-advice received) and it was delivered by Hermes. Mine has another tracking thing saying it's in the North West, so I don't think I'll be getting mine today either...

OK so after an hour hold, spoke to them. To be honest they have no idea where it is or what's going on. They are saying it's been despatched but Royal Mail are clearly showing it hasn't been received. They offered nothing else. I tried cancelling and requested a refund, they refused outright to do that which i'm pretty sure is illegal as they haven't met the contract they set in place - i.e. they took my money and sent an email saying delivery would be the 3rd. They said I could return it for a refund as and when it finally turned up. What a joker. Anyway, speaking to them is a complete waste of time so don't bother ring. I've just rung my credit card, explained the situation and they raised a dispute. They said I was entitled to a cancellation and refund. My money has been refunded by Barclaycard immediately and they are taking care of the matter now. I would advise anyone in the same situation to do the same. Oh, and NEVER EVER order from NUK again.

So I just got off the call with Nintendo after being on hold for an hour. At the moment my delivery status is:

We have been notified that your item is being shipped by the retailer; the next scan will appear when we receive this item into our network.

I asked what was going on and where my Switch was. He looked in the system in case my order was sent through a different courier but it wasn't. He then told me that because the right people weren't at the office today that he wouldn't be able to update me until Monday at the earliest. I asked about compensation and he said I would receive an email later today in regard to whether I will be compensated for this or not. I'm genuinely so disappointed.

My only problem is the switch is sold out everywhere. So if I get a refund I got Zelda and accessories sat there doing nothing till there in stock again

I received an email saying that it had been delivered to my address or my neighbours. Been around the neighbour hood and no one has had anything delivered. I don't even have a card saying where it is. Gah, hate all this faff.

I never drive faster than I can see. Besides, it's all in the reflexes.

I will just let you guys Know, for MANY they just lied, they have not even dispatched in many cases. Nintendo will dispatch many on MONDAY even thou they sent emails it was a complete lie!!!

@SquishySquish Go on the Hermes website and find their Live Chat. Say that you don't have a tracking number and was wondering if you can use your name and postcode to track down your parcel. I just did it and confirmed that Hermes don't have my parcel.

Well, apparently DPD lied to me. They have not lost it, they just screwed up and it is now winging its way up north to me for delivery at some point Monday. Hopefully they are giving my the £10 I paid for pre 10:30 delivery on Friday. Strangely though, they now say it will be delivered between 6:00 and 22:00 on Monday.

it sucks to have to go through Saturday and Sunday with no switch to play

Here's my story:

So I got a dispatch email late on thursday with a royal mail tracking number. By friday morning it still hasn't updated past the initial information. I contacted Royal Mail who told me it was invalid. Shortly after I got an email from Nintendo that said there was a mix-up and it had been sent through Hermes.

There was tracking info from Hermes. I clicked that and it said it had been "securely left in outbuilding". I live on a busy street. There is no outbuilding. I checked with neighbours who had nothing. There was nothing put through my door. I checked all around the streets, the bins, everywhere. Nothing. I contacted hermes who directed me to myHermes live chat, which told me to contact the retailer (i think Hermes and myHermes are 2 separate systems). Since 6:00PM I have been on hold to nintendo for a total of over 3 hours and have been kicked off the call 4 times. I've sent them messages, and nothing. I'm absolutely furious and don't know what to do next.
