That would be a really nice move towards the community since we are waiting for online from weeks while they said "days"...

I was gonna wait till after the fix before buying it , now Im thinking of getting it now incase there is a "were sorry" player packs for people who bought it before the update

So what's the verdict guys - worth the buy? Especially considering the big patch coming up? I've had my eye on it... but I also want Thumper. And Disgaea 5.

@rallydefault Well I haven't played Thumbper but I believe they're the same price. You will get more miles out of Disgaea 5 but that also cost more. This is a nice game but if you really want it I would wait to see what this announcement is first. Otherwise wait for a sale and go with one of the others.

Well, we get to find out here in the next 24 hours what the big announcement is. Please don't disappoint.

The PS4 patch came out already and it is an improvement. There is a new meter to help you make your shots and dunks. 3pt shots have been nerfed. This is a good thing because some games I would make every single 3pt basket with a player with an 8 for 3 pointers.

Now I just wish the players ran faster. I feel like the game is still too slow.

I went digging. Wish they would come out and say more.

But when the hell will their June 1st announcement come??? In the night???

I don't think they have anything concrete to say so they're saying nothing and will probably apologize later with another excuse.

I've been checking NL and the NBA Playgrounds public FB page all day like a junkie for this "announcement".

...in other news, I nearly beat Shaq and AI the first time I played them . . . the next 2 times I got SMOKED.

So we get Shaq Fu for free. I think I'm going to bite for the lulz.

@GrailUK Well it is Shaq Fu so YMMV. Whenever somebody talks about the original I'm reminded of the Fresh off the Boat ep when all the kids are die hard about the game and when they get it they hate it. I remember feeling the same when I rented it.

The New Shaq Fu does look pretty solid, and I'm sure we'll get that NBAP patch eventually . . . seems like it's in Nintendo's hands ATM.

@Ryu_Niiyama I never played it so I have zero miles! It looked awful from screenshots lol. This new one seems to have some flair to it though.

Ughh. When I was 14 I got Shaq-Fu for Christmas and I was pissed!!!!!!
This new one does not look any better..

Never thought about a free game. I guess that's not a bad deal even if the game doesn't turn out good.
