...Apparently Iceborne brought back the full layered armor thing where you can use any armor. So I guess they're doing the same with Rise....for some reason. lol

I've been using the Amiibo armour which looks great and means I can mix and match armour to suit my loadout without worrying about how it looks.
The only problem is everyone else is wearing it as well so it gets a bit manic keeping track of your guy online when everyone piles in.
@Northwind just spoof the Amiibos or buy the coins from ebay if you're not able to get hold of them.
For the past two weeks I have been playing nothing of mhw getting better at mh, but now that I have gotten pretty used to the game I want to get mhgu And play the harder old school ones and that will get me closer to becoming Amazing at mh.
I heard the game goes on sale like once a month so I will just wait, so if I haven't been talking its bc of this LOL.
Nintendo are like woman, You love them for whats on the inside, not the outside…you know what I mean! Luzlane best girl!

Just thought of something after going through the story, Rise's story/cutscenes seemed to be less than World's and 4/4U's. So removing Prowler in World/IB I guess made sense, the Palicoes were changed a bit in that game anyways.
But the Palicoes in Rise and how they're set up, reminds me of Generation's/Ultimate. It makes me wonder if Prowler could return in this game, via title update (unlikely, lol) or the eventual expansion. Would be interesting since this time we'd have Growler as well. (yes, Growler, it'll totally be called that for the dogs. xD)
Also, why do the cats not have a Protect type? You'd think that would be in this since they're more support-based in this game. lol

I love the palico armor (and Palamute armor, for that matter). It’s all so good. Every monster I fight I want to make their armor, but I can’t have my palico wear them all!
Just played all night with my brother in multiplayer. We got up to 3 star quests. That was some of the best fun I’ve had that I can recall. Magnamalo and Goss Harag hit like a truck. Even in low rank. I can tell once you get to Magnamalo the higher tier monsters start coming out to play. I think Goss Harag is my favorite so far. And his armor set looks nuts. And the palico and Palamute Goss Harag armor looks slick. I need it. But I gotta craft Magnamalo armor first. I was wearing the layered armor, but my brother had it on so I changed back to the Basarios Hunting Horn set like the demo had. We posed for pictures together which I hung on my wall in my room...
As with Monster Hunter World and Monster Hunter Generations before it, Rise as a base game does not offer the end game Master Rank feature of crafting your own layered armor, which is never included until the Ultimate Edition releases.
Like World, you can use layered armor sets from preorder bonus, DLC or sets earned in game. Full transmog will only be included after we get the Ultimate Edition expansion, as we did in MHGU and MHWI
And people said this game was easier than World...World I was going through everything barely breaking a sweat, low rank, most of high rank, even some of the Master Rank.
Here, I haven't even truly started high rank yet and some of the monsters are giving me a hard time in the hub. I'm going to guess people who said this was easier than World, went multiplayer only during the hub. Multiplayer basically being easy mode for the hub, or something. lol
EDIT: Void, I think it's the same for armor, pressing Y brings up a sub-menu and you can add an upgrade to the wish list.
@VoidofLight For the weapon, you may need to have the weapon before it, not entirely sure since I never used the wish list on weapons before yet.
Anyways yeah Hub quests can be dealt with alone, that's what I've been doing with the low rank stuff. I kinda want to do online with some friends but with my crappy luck, they're never around when I want to try it. TwT

@VoidofLight
Ya, press Y and you get a sub-menu from where you can wishlist. To remove from wishlist either craft the item or, go into + options and tab over til you see Wishlist. There you can delete.
And yes, Hub is basically the equivalent of the MH World quest line. They're quests which scale for solo or multi-player. You can play them by yourself offline, or with others online, and difficulty scales depending on how many players you have. But even when playing solo, difficulty will be higher than village quests, more in line with MH World. HP pools are higher too, so expect quests to last longer.
But for Hub, Low Rank is HR1, HR2 and HR3, with High Rank being HR4, HR5, HR6 and HR7. Whereas with the village Quests, HR1 - HR6 is all Low Rank (the ultimate expansion will add High Rank Village Quests and Master Rank Hub Quests)

All we know is that it's Chameleos and Apex Rathalos...apparently there's a leak out there, but like with all leaks I'd rather wait till I hear Capcom themselves.
