Topic: Mario Strikers Battle League

@Scollurio The world we're currently in is quite dystopian as is, may as well represent it in video game form. Also, Splatoon's always been very creepy, you just need to know where to look.

I mean heck, there Games are there to copy there warfare, then the other race got shunned and force underground LOL.

Lol, Strikers is back! Is this Next levels new game? Anyway, looks sweet of course. But its multiplayer stuff, so not for me.

Never played this game before - in fact never seen/knew about it before, but being a huge football fan, this was the highlight of the direct for me

Day 1 purchase and can't wait to play this

Is that confirmed? Is there not a solo/story mode?

One thing that I love that I noticed even while watching it live is that the villains (Bowser, Wario, etc.) catch the ball rather than kick it. They literally break the golden rule of football and get away with it because they're mean, I love it.

How were the original games in the single player category. I am interested but I am not a big multiplayer guy.

@blindsquarel You'll probably want to skip this game since most of the fun is most likely going to be in the multiplayer with friends.

Like Mario Kart/Tennis/Golf/Dressage the single player is fine and fun but it really shines in multiplayer.

Nah, you could shove other players since the orginal games too. And the orginal cover had a angry looking Mario on it

It does make me wish their Mario wrestling game was given the go ahead, that sounded great.

@jump Ha, your right, idk why I thought it was T though, LOL. Again, never played it, but I hope the characters still scream like they did in the other games, and just overall, feel more, dark (EEEEH?)

Those where asumptions from my. The only thing I know is that Strikers back. If there's a solid single-player, I might be onboard.

Does it have the offside rule?

@ophone Nope but I'm hoping they have VAR in it. VAR is the best thing to happen to modern football since Roman Abramovich started the bored billionaire throwing into clubs to make things more interesting!
