Pretty cool, but this isn't for me.

Must be nice living in a house with enough space in the living room for a fully featured Mario Kart circuit.

I like the idea of this, but that's Alot of money

@gcunit Nintendo UK has just put up the pre-orders and it's £99.99, that makes no sense to me as it's basically charging the UK/Europeans 1/3rd more for it.

@HobbitGamer I fully expect the kart itself to be a high quality RC car, with good handling and feel. You know, it should play like the real deal. So I can understand if that's pricy.

After all, what fun would it be if the car was just... A cheap toy?

Not that I plan on buying this though...

I also have little room in the shack I live in so it wouldn't work for me either way

@Eel True, and the cameras on it, with the transmitter could easily be 50-60 consumer cost alone.

@Eel thanks. Makes sense that I didn't get it then I'll check it again tomorrow when my brains are a bit more fresh, although it's safe to say it's probably not for me.

What if the car run out of its battery life during playing ?

Pre ordered. Went for the Luigi model. Its €110 in Ireland. It looks fantastic, i love this kind of clever thinking that Nintendo pulls out of nowhere.

Part of me is really excited about this.

Part of me feels like this is another one of those games that will have some novelty value and no one will care about it a week after they buy it.

When Nintendo goes way out there with a new concept, they really f*** up badly.

I don't think Nintendo will be so stupid to make the RC car completely unplayable when it runs out its battery life.
I think we will see a battery slot and we can replace it with standard AA batteries.
