Topic: Kirby: Star Allies

@Snaplocket, if I recall correctly, can't you disengage the allies? I know you need them for some puzzles, but maybe you could discard them before a boss to make things more challenging (well, as challenging as Kirby gets).

I had some issues with Return to Dreamland in terms of level design so the fact that people find this to not be the best Kirby game doesn't surprise me tbh.

Actually reminds me I still need to play the main 3DS games. I have Triple Deluxe literally a few feet from me right now and everything. Kinda hope they live up to expectations and hype.

The game is actually quite fun while playing together. Two things annoy me though:
1) While playing as p2, why can't you easily become one of the CPU-friends if they have a more awesome ability?
2) The helpers destroy enemies we want to befriend all the time. I know: we could play faster but my co-player is quite unexperienced so for now that's a bit hard

27 (around 0.7 in 2D-platformer experience years though)...

The price is a bit over the top. They should be charging half as much because it's half the framerate.

I played it a bit I'm quite pleased it is fun and charming even playing solo. Enemies respawn easily you just have to go a few steps forward and then get back if your allies kill somebody you want ed

@Prizm I don't mind and actually I don't get the hassle about framerates. Maybe my eyes are unable of noticing the difference?

@toiletduck They all respawn, you just need to move their spawn location offscreen and then return.

How do I change control scheme? I am at the menu called "Basic Controls" but no button lets me switch from Type A. I appreciate the help.

I found it myself, you have to go out to the main menu and do it there for some reason.

Does anyone have an alternate title on their physical case? Mine says "Kirby Star Bois"... I think I may have gotten a counterfeit game... the cart works and has the correct title though.

Darn, doesn't look like it's going to show up before I have to go to work. At least it gave me time to complete the Ancient Armor set in BotW this morning.

My son got home from school expecting his copy on the doorstep and now Amazon is saying there was an “unexpected delay”.

Not impressed at all.

I think if your a Prime it helps Amazon expedite it faster. Seems like if your Prime the benefits aimed at those members faster delivery and services.

Just got mine UPS and loaded up and yea it's fun...just like the Kirby on 3DS it's still fun and I like the voice in it as well.

@SwitchForce yeah, I am a Prime Member and have been a regular customer for many years. I’m guessing they miss judged stock or something. I am just annoyed because they only notified me today and now I have an upset child. Will message them and ask for clarification and pressure for a discount. Hehe

Alright I was kidding about the case, I haven't gotten the game yet but I go pick it up right now from the post office and there's nothing in the damn box... before someone tells me someone opened it, I got it directly from the front desk at the post office...

Got my copy from Amazon in today.

First impressions: It looks beautiful (if a bit stylistically generic), gameplay is fun (I limit myself to one helper, unless a puzzle requires more, and shed them before a boss to fight them one on one), and I've played Waaay too much of the asteroid mini game (got a high score of 9863 light years).

So far I've completed the first world with everything collected.
