@McGruber The Labo camera would just be an ergonomics kinda thing, so you can hold and manipulate it like a real professional camera. Obviously you wouldn't have a viewfinder but that isn't the point, the point would being able to manual zoom and adjust exposure and so on with controls that would feel like a real camera, and the tracking would let you aim like a real camera as well. It just seems like it would be a fun, easy, optional way to interact with the game.

You don't need a viewfinder when you have screen right there in the back of the camera.

Though just having a little hole in right place would be more than enough to give the illusion of a viewfinder.

1. I never mentioned the Wii U
2. I don't think you understand what I was saying. For a game like Pokemon Snap you are taking pictures of virtual objects in a virtual world. All you need for that is a gyro and a screen. Something which, to be frank, the Wii U GamePad was perfect for and the Switch does just as well.
