Topic: How to save a game in Super Mario de Luxe

Hello, i have started to play to Super Mario de Luxe and progressed quite well ahead. So far i have never switched off the Nintendo and i keep quick saving after every match and i press the on-off key to put it in a kind of sleep mode. I am wondering what happens if i switched it off, would i lose everything? Is there a way to save my game without losing everything after switching off? Thank you

Just finish the first castle as it's the easiest and it will auto save. If not you can save once in the pause menu, which shows a balloon. Beware that once you continue, that save will be gone so the easiest castle is the best way

so before finishing the first castle if i only quicksaved every time, whenever i had to switch off the nintendo then when i switch it on i should start back from the very beginning?

If I were you I would just leave the quick save feature altogether. Honestly, the first castle in acorn Plaines can be completed in about 40 seconds and you don't need to worry about losing anything. You can farm items and as many 1ups as you like, go straight back and do the first castle and everything will be saved for good without the fear of losing anything.

There's a Save option that comes up after completing certain levels, mainly fortresses and castles. Every time you press that it permanently saves your progress.

The quick save option also saves your game, so if you close the game or switch the console off you won't lose any progress as long as you've saved or quick saved. The difference between the two options is that you can only continue from a single quick save once. You don't need to worry about that though; just quick save (or use the normal save option if you can) before you close the game each time you play it.

Thank you Nintendo for giving us Donkey Kong Jr Math on Switch Online

@mrblue If it's like the Wii U version, you can manually save after any stage... once you've beaten the main game once - not much use to you on a first play through though. I'd have killed for it cos I was too dense to consider replaying the easiest castle to achieve the same thing

You guys had me at blood and semen.

What better way to celebrate than firing something out of the pipe?

Nothing is true. Everything is permitted.
