@kkslider5552000 The part that messed me up was the mashing part, Idk whats wrong with my fingers lol...

Space and Games are similar. Space is endless and new stuff is out there waiting to be discovered. Games are always being made but the creativity is different from one game to another and so many more ideas still haven't been imagined or created yet. (That came out better than expected lol)

This is probably not a boss but also from Bowsers Inside story, the carrot minigame... that was so hard the 1st time, the 2nd time wasn't TOO bad.

F-Zero GX story mode on Very Hard difficulty comes to mind, the whole thing is very difficult but given this is about bosses the one I'd pick for this thread is Deathborn.

Raven Beak is tough, but after enough rounds you can learn the fight well enough that he's surprisingly manageable. It's almost as though they put a Mega Man boss fight into a Metroid game.

I'd argue Experiment No. Z-57 is a tougher boss, and maybe even Escue as it has attack patterns I've never been able to avoid.

@RupeeClock I wouldn't even try Punch-out on a modern TV for that reason. I think the last time I played it was on the Wii via the Virtual Console and even then it felt off to me.

@RupeeClock the fan attack was brutal I almost agree the raven beak was easier because of the easy black hole heal

The version of Kirby & the Forgotten Land's final boss you fight in the hardest version of it's arena mode. Don't think I ever quite took it down, but again part of the challenge is getting there in the first place.

The final boss in Metroid Dread. That game had a few tough bosses but he really took the cake. Felt good to finally beat him though.

The post game boss in Yoshi's Crafted World. I can get to the final phase, but I don't think you're allowed to make a single mistake & I can't quite do it.

Not a Nintendo developed game, but on Switch. There's this centipede demon lady you have to fight in the latter half of Ninja Gaiden Sigma that took me forever to beat. That game has absolutely tons of hard bosses, but she got to me more than any other.

Currently Playing:
Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)

Inner Agent 3 in Splatoon 2: Octo Expansion…what the actual FUDGE was that boss fight? Agent 3 is so fast and such a cheater in that boss fight. I beat that boss on my account and I tried to defeat Agent 3 again but for my sister, but I don’t think I ever did. It’s way too hard and I only beat the boss once. Oh well, at least you get a cool golden toothpick as a reward lol. I would also mention the final boss in the Expansion as well as the final boss in Splatoon 3, though the former is only difficult if you waste time and keep missing the bombs.

Would have mentioned a couple of Rare’s N64 games, but they aren’t Nintendo IPs and are Microsoft property so I can’t rant about them unfortunately… there is like two bosses that I want to mention here but can’t.

If you’re curious, the character in my PFP is Flippy from Happy Tree Friends.

One of the hardest bosses, and it’s not the actual boss itself, is Mother Brain from Metroid Zero Mission. Those turrets and lava can go right to hell.

I usually am enough of a glutton for punishment that I’ll ram my head against any boss in the game.
Inner Agent 3 is the only boss in a game I’ve ever played (I mostly play platformers and RPGs tbf) to make me quit a game I was determined to beat. There are a few games that have tough bosses that I already wasn’t interested in playing in the first place, and a few that I quit because of a mechanic I couldn’t beat (never got to finish the original Bowser’s Inside Story due to the X button mashing being impossible, thankfully it was easier in the remake), but it’s just too hard, man. Excellent concept for a boss, and one of the best realizations of the “fighting the player character” concept, but not a ride I wanted to ride.
