...So are you able to combine texture tiles to make a single tile? There has to be a way around this 64x64 pixel limitation...I'm still wondering if I should just wait and hope for an update that adds stuff.

EDIT: ...OMG Nintendo, I just realized, why didn't you allow us to use Miis in this? Like, seriously! They need to update the game and allow us to import Miis! Maybe even the ones created in Switch's Miitopia with the Makeup system...gah! >.<

I made this tonight, after barely touching that games since I pre-ordered it. But here's a shmup that I once made on Multimedia Fusion. It's a skill-based Shmup where you must shoot EVERYTHING and not let enemies pass you, or lasers go past the screen. Each time you make a miss, the percentage on the Missometer increases, and at 100% it's GameOver!

I will admit though, I need to design better AI and enemy patterns as it's just a random occurrence rather then anything generated. But I hope you guy like the game!

OK, I just made an updated version of my game, regrettably, it's on a different ID!

The update includes new sound, music, improved missometer and solves an error that causes the screen to still flash for a miss even when you're Game Over.

...and another update to Perfect Red. Solves an error that causes a game over at 99% on the Missometer rather than 100%. Now includes a surprise for high scoring players! 😮😁

I didn't make this (I'm still going through the lessons before messing around with everything by myself, lol), but I'm posting this here because lulz.

EDIT: I'm done with the lessons, kinda gave up at the final step and just left it as is so I could "complete it and move on", lol. Anyways, gonna make my own 2D platformer, will replace the Person with a sprite (probably Mario, because why not, lol) eventually. That said, holy crap...I spent way too long making a running mechanic...this killed my brain. lol

Trying to think of all the things added to this compared to v1.4. A new enemy lane is added, a Warning sign with audio, new music, multiplier indicators, slightly slowly enemies so that you can reach the top and bottom lanes without losing out from the randomiser.

I’m afraid I have no answers, only another question to throw on the pile.

I currently have a setup with five ‘people’ characters all running about, and the game programmed to reset when all five characters are killed/broken. I’d like to change is to that the game rests when a specific one of these five characters breaks, but don’t know how!

If anyone can share their wisdom I’d be grateful!

@Maxz I think I know how to do that, but I'm still at work at the moment. When I get back, I can test what I'm thinking about, and I can relay it back to you providing it works. But I think you need to join a unique object, that's not being used in the rest of the game, to you person model you want to cause the reset. The idea being is that when you destroy that joined object, along with that person, you can use, when cylinder break, timer 1 second, reset game.

@Joeynator3000 I would suggest looking at the rail nodon. I haven't used it yet, but if it's what I think it is, it makes an object follow a rail and then stop. So if you can tmget that to work, make the object invisible, and make the screen follow the invible object as it starts to auto scroll and stop at a certain point.

@SepticLemon I actually managed to get it work another way, but yeah...I still say this needs more tutorials in general...and that Nintendo should make more lessons on advanced stuff.

Like, I wanted to try something with a ball rolling game, kinda like with one of the lessons. But instead of controlling the ball, you control the entire platform. But of course, I couldn't figure that out...>.<

@Maxz OK, I worked something out with a touch object nodon.

Here's an example for you to look at. Simply put, the game causes a reset with player 3 gets touched.

@SepticLemon Thank you! I’ll have a look at this and your shmup level after work! I admit I was diving into things a bit early (having only completed the first tutorial), but it’s been really fun just messing around in the sandbox. This is a really neat little package.
