Caeda and Tiki have been revealed!
Shadow Dragon now had a whopping 3(4 with Navarre) characters!! (Yeah... I still want Merric... and Camus...)

So there we have it, the leak completely confirmed but the boxart and cards aren't the complete roster as shown by Navarre.

@Grumblevolcano yeah, I’m thinking that perhaps others may be extras/unlockables in the game?
Just 3 for Shadow Dragon seems really low... and Navarre does seem almost completely confirmed.

@yokokazuo Wait...no no no no no no...please tell me that when Tiki fights you play as her dragon form...
Maybe it is still to early to tell, but not playing as her in constant dragon form is super disappointing. It was one of the things I was looking forward to the most. Don't even get me started if they put her constant dragon form behind burst mode(?) or some kind of extra mode. KT had the opportunity to let us play as dragons, werewolves, foxes, or a giant red lion, but they only put in one shape shifter... and they may have just messed up the only one they have in the game...at least for me.

I'm guessing that FE Warriors will have a similar story to Hyrule Warriors where multiple worlds from different games are joined together. If that happens then I'll assume that there is at least one stage based on each game and a few based on the kingdom that the new characters come from.

If we're already going to other worlds then enemy recruitment could be a feature (or at least characters from enemy nations). That would allow Navarre, Tharja, Sonya and others to join the cast but they would be optional and therefore not required for the story, leaving them out of the box art.

The limited amount of characters from some games also lends itself to the inevitable season pass. There will probably be 3 or 4 packs each based on a different games which will add 2 or 3 characters and some extra levels from the new history mode. Packs based on Echoes, Radiant Dawn, Geneology of the Holy war and the GBA games seem likely to me...

@Tsurii Durnit. Thats such a downer...just like young Link...hopefully like young link Tiki can boost her burst meter with a button press, but still I don't get why her dragon form isn't constant. Hopefully they do a beast character DLC pack for characters like Keaton, Kaden, and Caineghis. They just better be in constant beast mode.

Well, look at it this way: if you played only as the dragon then you'd have a toon Zelda situation where you aren't actually playing as the character you picked.

Some people may want to see Tiki in her human form while they play, after all.

Yes, except on the part about it being lame.

For this kind of fanservice-driven games, hiding your characters beneath permanent form changes makes less sense.

Having the monster forms tied to mechanics or attacks makes it easier to represent both forms of the character.

@Snaplocket I'd say the most likely reason for no transformation is actually due to the New 3DS version existing. Remember that the 3DS version of Smash 4 is why there's no transformations in the Wii U version of Smash 4 (Zelda/Sheik, Samus/ZSS).

Eel

@Grumblevolcano I highly doubt that would be the case.

For starters, the characters do transform. And secondly, the moveset they're requesting here would be basically dragon form all the time without transformations. Lastly, the developers are in no way obligated to make both versions equal.

@Snaplocket Maybe you are just being too negative about the whole situation. I mean, some weeks ago everyone was complaining about the game having a few characters (as if for some ilogical reason they were certain that they showed the complete roster at that point) and now they included characters that I didn't expect to appear... but since they aren't exactly as you or others imagined them in terms of gameplay now it seems like they are just "doing it for the fanservice". Maybe they genuinely wanted to make the best version of the character to satisfy everyone, even if that wasn't the situation with you or other people .

@Snaplocket It wouldn't be good if she was permanently a dragon though, she wouldn't be able to speak in any cutscenes or support conversations.
Besides mixing the two forms adds more variety to the otherwise very repetitive Warriors gameplay and a most of the other characters don't really allow any form changes.
She's appeared in at least 3 or 4 forms so it would be hard to keep everyone happy anyway...

Just gonna throw my two cents in...I am dissapointed that Tiki isn't consistently dragon, but I get it. I would have been miffed if Corrin was only in her dragon form, but I honestly forgot that she can turn into a dragon. So I can't hold it against the game any more. It at least makes more sense to then Fierce Deity being stuck with young Link because if they just gave Link a Fierce Deity costume i'd have been much happier. I can see why some might think that a consistent dragon form would be slow, but knowing KT I believe they could have found a way yo make as fast as other characters. That being said I still want consistent beast formed characters if they are added in DLC. I still wish to live in a world where I can play as a werewolf in a Warriors game.

@Snaplocket That's understandable if it's such an important aspect to you. Maybe if the game proves worth in reviews and feedback from other players, or if the gameplay of the character is better than it looks you should consider getting it later, at discount or something. If not, there's still many games coming out fortunately.
