Topic: Fire Emblem Warriors

Woah, this game releases in a week. That came up really quick.

@yokokazuo Oh thank you! I talked myself out of getting it early but I'm so very excited for this game (I'd been speculating for FE Warriors since HW got announced. So this is almost like having a personal request answered-even though it just is the best logical fit really). I do have the SE pre ordered and since there isn't as big of a gap between releases as there was with #FE I can't really justify the double dip (although I do wonder for people that buy it on the eshop if it counts as a purchase when the worldwide release hits). Anyway, thanks! Looking forward to what you post.

I just really wanted the art book and dragon stone since those aren’t included in other regions haha.
I usually wait for the western releases, but double dipped on a few like ♯FE and Monster Hunter 3G/Ultimate (just 2 weeks before the western release was announced though )

Anyways no problem! I’m really looking forward to getting it and playing through everything!
The game has some of my favourite units in it (Lyn, Marth, Caeda, Robin, presumably Navarre) and I’m still hoping for some others though like Merric and perhaps others from older games (or as DLC)

Lyn is cool...but Hector would have been better...I just really hope that Lyn's reveal doesn't confirm that leak because if it does then I will be super disappointed. If that roster is true then the game will lack a playable general and assassin, and 3 of the 4 charters from the first game will be sword fighters. (If Caeda is a sword fighter, but if she a lance fighter then woo hoo we have another lance wielding Pegasus knight)
At least we still have the great reason why Ike isn't in...You know "Too many sword fighters"...

This game is 13.1GB's in size.

Looks like Celica is confirmed to be a playable character! That leak seems more realistic now but it's strange seeing her without Alm...

@Kimyonaakuma If the leak is true, it's an incomplete leak because we saw Navarre in the trailer after the Nintendo Direct.

Near the end around 1:20 you can see Caeda and someone behind Marth in red who very closely resembles Navarre. While I’m assuming that leak is the final box art, I’m wondering if maybe other characters are in different places or something perhaps?
I just really want Merric for Shadow Dragon. And there aren’t any armour knights revealed yet either. Also assuming Camus should show up. Could be a boss though and presumably unlockable.

Want to save money? Instead of buying Fire Emblem Warriors you can dust of your good ol Wii U, start Super Smash Bros, select one of (too) many Fire Emblem characters, set 7 CPU's at lowest difficulty level with 200% damage as a handicap. Same hack and slash effect, can't tell the difference

@JaxonH Anna and Tiki, the latter of which was pretty much confirmed at E3 by the existence of an amiibo.

It would be odd not having Anna in some form. She's the only and only recurring main character after all.

I'm glad she's playable.

I know that they can't but every character in the franchise and make them unique so I hope they can utilize costumes and not the somewhat half baked ones in HW where the costumes were based on other characters. I mean have the costumes be full blown character models. For example Lyn could have a costume of Lon'qu or Takumi having a costume of Shinon.

Hyrule Warriors had a few great costumes though. You just need to look under the dozens of lame recolors.

HW does have some good costumes, but i feel like KT could do something amazing here. Hey you maybe disappointed that x character didn't get in, but they are costumes for other characters. Even before the reveal of this game I thought that "characters" could take the form of classes, and costumes for these "characters" could be the actual character. Like lon'qu being a costume of the sword master character.

Having some characters "cosplay" as other FE characters that didn't make it would be a nice addition for fans. It would be better than the recoloured costumes from HW, even if they were loosely based on another Zelda character.

I feel like they might skip optional costumes and just change outfits after a class change, it would be a lot simpler. However I could see the Bridal, Easter and Summer outfits from FE heroes show up in a few DLC packs seeming as a lot of the cast already have a themed costume designed.
