@TheJGG Yeah, he's not really one for let's first read this really thoroughly, comprehend the context that it's made in, and THEN respond. Nope, he just responds to the parts that trigger him, which is the "not a lot of games on the Switch" part, obviously...
There’s a ton of “adult” games (eg outer worlds, immortals Fenyx rising, Bioshock, dark souls, etc). But don’t be afraid to pass up something that looks like it’s not necessarily geared towards adults, too, is my suggestion. There’s a lot of great games out there. A quick Google of “switch “ and whatever genre you like usually turns up good results. The eshop and Nintendo’a own site are pretty terrible for searching for something unless you go in knowing what you want.
100% agree. I bought my kids a Switch for Xmas the year they came out and mostly ignored it. At the time, I somehow didn't realize that the NES and SNES apps were available and had all my favorites from back in the day. Once I discovered that information, I started fighting with my kids over whose turn it was, so I ended up buying my own.
I'm almost 44 years old and play my Switch almost daily. There are plenty of games on the system for "my age", but my favorite experience so far on the Switch has been getting 100% completion on Super Mario Odyssey. Mario + Rabbids is another one that is deceptive in its kiddy look, but is SO SO SO GOOD even if you're older.
