Now that I think about Raiden, Hamster has the Seibu Kaihatsu licence, doesn't it?
They also published Raiden and Raiden DX on PSone all those years ago.
I'd love to see the Raiden series in its entirety come to Switch. Including the Fighters games.

@OorWullie Hey mate. Can you slap 525120 on my Metal Slug score please. Hardcore'd it today and finally managed to get to the second boss hahaha! Downloading Danmaku now.
@wasilewski
The first thing that comes to mind when looking at those vids is:
Then I realised that those weren't your videos and I felt a tiny bit better.
Had a couple of decent runs.
The one at the top went quite well up to the start of level 4 where I messed up everything there was to mess up. lol Didn't even get to see the boss and I had 3 lives when I started the level. Just terrible...
The one after that was the opposite, yet ended up scoring lower.
Messed up just about everything in level 3, then proceeded to get through level 4 and make everything up.
Ended up seeing the level 4 boss for the second time and I think I got to his final phase when things just went kablooie.
I got the feeling he didn't particularly liked me that much.
Loved some of his patterns though. Quite tough but manageable with enough practice that's for sure.
Didn't want to look any further at those video as I want to see for myself what level 5 has in store for me.
Just had a quick glance at what might be the final boss and oh boy.... that black hole ring of death that closes in is something I have not encountered in all my years of playing shoot em ups.
Really nice design!
Glad to see so many new faces joining the ranks.
Feel free to shoot me a friend request.
@mauhlin12 It's still a bit preliminary as tactics will most likely evolve the longer we play the game, but as of now I believe that the secret to getting really high scores is keeping the graze counter going throughout the stage, which I haven't been able to do myself yet.
And also not to die, which is pretty obvious, but not use bombs either since that also returns the combo meter to zero.
You can use the Trance Mode all you like though, and since they act somewhat similarly to a bomb as it destroys enemy bullets, it's just as good. Heck, even better since it effects the whole screen and not just a perimeter around your ship like a regular bomb does.

@GrailUK Outstanding score mate! I like how, just like last week when you beat the score you really beat it. As the old them tune goes
"Dedication's what you need, if you want to be a Record Breaker"
48 games since October! To be fair most are retro and on average 2/3 games a week. What I'm finding incredibly useful is not using a credit card but limiting myself to buying a 15 pounds or 25 pounds eshop card every Sunday so I don't go overboard but it's still crazy. Never expected the Switch to be one of my favourite consoles.
@Jak3_Ry4n I've been mostly using the D-pad on my SF-30 Pro. The D-pad on my Pro controller is dodgy. I'd still prefer using that over the analogue though. Analogue controls in 2D games don't feel accurate to me That said I get on fine with the Joy-con analogue sticks though due to their shorter length.
