@meppi64 getting CAVE games on Switch would be an amazing thing to happen.
Personally, Iβd like to see a cartridge, or cartridges, sold with all CAVE games, complete with posters, artwork, instructions etc. Also, the choice to play in Japanese or English would be nice.
Im 99.9% certain this will ever happen, but you never know. Now that Treasure are on board, who knows?

@wasilewski I personally don't think we'll see compilation carts for Switch games if they ever come to the system. I can see single game releases with all the DLC on them though. Well, depending on how it's remastered naturally. If it's a straight arcade port without any extras, that's a completely different story.
You have to remember just how much content a single remastered Cave game contains.
You have the original Arcade Mode, the HD remaster, Novice, Arrange and V1.5.
Not only this, but inside some of these modes, you get another bunch of options, Normal, Ultra and Manic which again, play very different from one another.
Then you get to choose from 3 power types, again, changing the way you'll play the game.
So even though uninformed people still think that these are just one and done games, not only does the plain arcade mode offer unlimited replay value, just like nearly every arcade game, all those extra modes and versions make it so like you're getting up to a dozen different games all in one package.
So, I don't see them being released in a big bundle for 60β¬ anytime soon.
Just look at the ShotTriggers releases for Battle Garegga and Dangun Feveron or Darius Burst. They go for 35-60β¬ just for a single game.
Guess we're lucky Hamster and ZeroDiv are asking as little as they are for their releases.

@wasilewski Well yeah, but those are all just straight ports. just roms wrapped in an emulation package, so there's very little work to be done of anything besides the emulators and presentation.
@GrailUK I really wouldn't mind at this point to be honest.
Either no Cave games or Β£50 a pop for a physical version of each of their games with perfect ports? Day one!

Notice the reflection of Radiant Silvergun and Gunstar Heroes posters on the console. I'd say that was intentional.
I'd pay whatever they want for a Treasure Collection. @Lroy Does Rival Megagun have Co-op? If so we could do a team based weekly high score challenge. If it's only vs it still looks fun.
Just noticed I got an email from Pixelnest Studios, developers of Steredenn. 1 month after they emailed me to say they submitted a patch, they email me again to tell me the patch is live. Now that is some amazing customer service.
@OorWullie Sweet! Bought Streets of Red as well, seemed like too good to pass up at that price.
Hopefully it's as fun as it looks. I could use a good beat em up.
Also nice to see the indie devs being so friendly. Some of the big corps could certainly take a cue from them. cough*EA*cough*Activision*cough
@meppi64 Let me know how STREETS OF RED plays. Am tempted myself at that price. By the way, if you do need a good beat-em-up. WULVERBLADE is a must. Arguably, the best side-scrolling best-em-up on the Switch. Modern one without question. Classic too perhaps, hard to look past my HUGE life-long affection for DOUBLE DRAGON (reviewed and got a 6 on this site. A 6! Alongside FINAL FIGHT it is pretty much the grand father of the entire beat-em-genre but gets a 6. Insanity). Plus of course, BAD DUDES... should release for us Europeans today.
