I'm looking for lilies, cosmos, pears and cherries. I'm willing to trade or pay for any of these items.

Hmm. There’s one square of river that I can’t fill in. It’s in the middle of my island, nowhere near either river mouth. I’m stumped.

Edit: It was because a villager was sitting by it. 🙄 Knew I wasn’t doing wrong for once.

@k1234_acnh I have pears and cherries if you want. Do you have mums or roses that you'd be willing to trade?

I also think your island has to have some empty plot. Cos I went to @Blaze420 island once for a sheep villager, she can't move to my old island cos mine was full. I did get the option to ask her but after she call nook, she said nook told her the island is full... then I can't ask her again

@jamesnl @BrittGOAL14 My storage is stocked full of fish and bugs, too, but for a different reason. It's the biggest waste of bells ever, but the next time CJ visits my island, I'm going to get the coolest oarfish model!

Does anyone know how many times you have to help Gulliver before the story for him moves on? Or does it not change from digging up communicator parts for him?! I've helped him twice now - is that the only story involved for him?

Just keep doing it, you will get something worth it after a while. (Trying not to spoil it) plus check the recycle bin the next day for an item used to construct another big item. So really 2 good items are given after a while

@AndyD Oh ok, thank you for not spoiling it I will keep going, I was more concerned incase it was my game glitching when I'd already done it once! I'll be sure to check the recycle bin too - thanks for the tips
