@BrittGOAL14 Bamboo island is the worst. Can't even get any furniture from trees there and can't look for fossils without having to dig up a billion holes. I usually just take a lap of the beach in case there's a DIY recipe and then leave.
I've only gone to 3 mystery islands. The first two were just like my island. The third was at least a little different. Every tree was a foreign fruit tree, but I already have that fruit, and the flowers were still my native ones. If you get a foreign fruit you should at least get a foreign flower, too. Maybe one day I'll get an island that gives me something useful (it would probably help if I did it more often).
@BenAV Yeah Ben, it looks like I most definitely have a decreasing pattern. Let me know if you're available so I can visit your island if you have decent turnip prices.
@Xyphon22 Meh, I got excited to sell 57 peaches today. Foreign so still made some bells. I’ve gone to a hybrid flower island before, though. Couldn’t believe it. Blue/orange/pink hyacinths. Hoping for more islands like that in the future.

@Xyphon22 I don't visit mystery islands much either, intact I've only been once! I must start going more often so I can find some different things. I'm currently trying to make my island look nice but don't get a lot of spare time so its taking a long time. I'll get there in the end!
I have gone on a few mystery island tours every day since release date. It seems that you can only find 1 type of foreign fruit (coconuts don't count) and 1 type of foreign flowers no matter how many times you visit. I suppose it is made that way to encourage trading between players.
Just a helpful tip for you guys. In case you build something like a bridge and it causes your furniture to disappear, you should check the recycle bin at Isabelle and Tom Nook's place to get it back. I caused my anchor statue to vanish by complete accident, so I was thankful to acquire it again that way.

Ask if you want to be Switch friends with me, but I'd like to know you first. Thanks! ❤️
I just visited a mystery island with my Nook Miles Ticket and it was a bamboo island. I brought some bamboo trees back with me and also some bamboo shoots, what is the best thing to do with those, shall I grow them on my own island or is there another more profitable use for them?
I have a new villager moving in tomorrow and I cannot remember his name He arrived at the campsite so I invited him to stay, I think he was a bear but its really bad that I can't remember much about him!
@Pink_Yoshi Plant the bamboo on your island. It's good to have a little supply of it so that you've got it there if you need any for DIY recipes. Plus it can look nice.
If you go to many mystery islands though you'll probably learn to hate the bamboo one. Once you've got some the first time, there's not a lot to gain from going back there so it's a bit of a waste of a ticket.
I haven’t gone on a nook island tour in nearly a week. Don’t see the point much now. I have bamboo and the rare tulips and hyacinths, although I wouldn’t say no to a few more. You can’t create tarantula island anymore you can only visit the official one. The one time I tried to create it was when Nintendo had patched it out already. I have seen the butterfly island, the money rock one and the trash island. There are a few I haven’t seen but I rather save my nook miles.
