I knew that The Sims 4 and all of its content packs, including expansions, gameplay, stuff and kits are unavailable for the Nintendo Switch, but I'm just wanting to know if you think that The Sims 4 and all of its content packs are likely for Nintendo Switch 2? Why?

The SIMS 4 even on PS4 machine was still struggling to maintain the stable fps.
Glad it was fixed by playing on PS5 machine.
The SIMS 4 really needs PS5 power to get stable 60 fps.
If I was an EA investor I would be screaming at the company to support the Switch 2! Now that Switch supports mouse controls, I mean what more are they waiting for?? Sims was on EVERY Nintendo console except the Wii U and Switch! I mean gamecube got Sims and Sims 2!
I would be shocked if EA passed up SIMS 4 for Switch 2!

I don't think The SIMS 4 will running well on Switch 2.
The game itself was struggling even on PS4 machine (unstable fps) and takes PS5 power to make it smooth 60 fps.
The loading time even on PS4 version was pretty long, a little bit faster by PS5 power.
Also, the DLC of The SIMS 4 are very pricey and too many.
Sims 4 also runs “good enough” on PS4. That’s been the primary way I’ve experienced it. I imagine it’s rather slow compared to PS5 and PC, but I’ve never found it particularly unpleasant or unplayable. Unintuitive controls have been my main problem. Now, put that game on a significantly more powerful device with mouse controls and a touch screen? Sign me up NOW!
You can’t control the way others talk to you, but you can control the way you talk to others.
What people seem to overlook is that the PS4 had a pretty slow (by modern standards) 5400 RPM SATA II hard drive, with a maximum bandwidth throughput of around 300 MB/s.
The Switch 2 on the other hand uses MicroSD Express cards on top of its own internal flash storage, a much more modern technology that can achieve speeds 60% faster than those of even SATA SSDs, up to 985 MB/sec. The Switch 2 also has more RAM (Likely 12GB vs the PS4's 8GB) .
On this basis, there should be significant loading time differences between the two consoles, assuming EA do their jobs properly and utilize the Switch 2's full potential (Never a guarantee!).
So although the PS4 shares similarities in terms of raw processing power, Switch 2 has its own individual strengths that can greatly outmatch Sony's 12 year old console, to make it feel like the much more modern system that it is. All whilst maintaining its slim portable profile. Something to contemplate, perhaps.
I do think EA has a chance of porting it, if for no other reason than they decided to make sims 4 a forever game rather than making sims 5. So at that point they will want it on every platform they can get it on. As I have it on PC I doubt I will reinvest in console but I will probably get the my sims games to show support.
