At this point, the real Switch 2 release timeframe could be 2-3 months or 4-5 months

We’ll have to wait until Nintendo officially says something themselves

Nate has been gaged by Ninja so even if he knew or has inside track he's not going to want to invite the Ninja to his house for a meeting.

I’m thinking January Reveal with an April/May Launch

@skywake I'd guess 3rd parties are hoping for that time window so they can easily avoid GTA6.

@Grumblevolcano Planning around it too much seems a little dangerous since no one seems 100% convinced GTA6 won't be delayed until 2026

@FishyS You can have a situation where release dates aren't announced until after GTA6 gets its release date. I think just like with RDR2 and GTAV, a precise GTA6 release date announcement would happen around late January/early February because of Take Two's investor meeting in February.

Not sure what it means in terms of the UI, but even if it’s the same OS, the Switch 2 UI could be different, meaning there’s still a chance it will get color themes and new UI sounds (UI music may or may not be a possibility).

Even if the Switch ends up still being similar to the one from the original Switch, maybe the Switch 2’s extra power can make it run better.

And it looks as if the BEE-006 model name may end up referring to Switch 2 cartridges.

None of this information is new information. The only thing that has changed is that the BEE product code is for the first time officially visible to end users without any sleuthing. Literally on the Switch itself

What it does do however is align with all of the shipping and OS sleuthing we've seen to this point. So if there was still any doubt that the tablet device with detachable controllers being mass produced that has a new Tegra SoC with 12GB RAM and a 256GB SSD and a larger screen wasn't Switch 2.... well there shouldn't be anymore. Because that product also has the product code of BEE

@skywake We’re about to see the Switch 2 pretty soon, and we already know it exists

An announcement at any moment when we least expect it is inevitable at this point

In a warehouse somewhere right now there are millions of Switch 2 consoles complete and in their box ready to go

Yet they already know of its existence and are just waiting for Nintendo to unveil it

You do have a point its only a matter of time that switch 2 is coming in the year 2025 maybe jan or may.

That depends if they want to go with a similar release timeframe as the Switch or make it shorter

I'm getting concerned - I read some comments that it might be like March 2025 before we see Switch 2 come to market.

With how short release timeframes could get nowadays, a March 2025 release is pretty likely

Although May and June aren’t out of the radar if they won’t release the Switch 2 in March

While we're on the subject of release dates, is anyone actually going to buy the new system on release or wait until later? Personally, I might hold off until its second or maybe third year(assuming there aren't any hardware revisions).
