@Artonide I've seen those as well. Basically the way things are looking is it's either tomorrow or next year. Cause it wouldn't really make sense to reveal it this year if it's not before the investor meeting.
@WoomyNNYes
Nintendo YouTubers are full of it. They know as much as any of us do. With that said, going back to the start of this year there were always a few specific weeks which made more sense than any others
1. The week before TGS aka when they usually do their September Direct
2. The week before one of their quarterly investor Q&As i.e. June, October or January
This week is one of the two most likely weeks left. And also, I'd argue, one of the more likely of the above. I suspect they'll announce this week with a small overview trailer and use the space before their next Q&A to do a deeper presentation
There may not be much time left for Nintendo to announce the Switch 2 this year.
Today may have been Nintendo’s last chance of announcing the Switch 2 this year, unless it’s the November 5 meeting next Tuesday where it’s the last chance for a 2024 Switch 2 reveal.
In my view, Xenoblade X being announced outside of a Direct points to the Switch 2 reveal being imminent. I doubt they would do a Switch Direct and Switch 2 reveal close together.

I'm not sure about a reveal, but it certainly seems like they are setting themselves up for a Switch-2-games-direct early next year by filling out the early 2025 schedule.
Still no clue why they have dribbled us tons of seperate announcements lately instead of having a September direct.
I'm starting to think it'll be a January announcement for an early June launch. Now that I've said this watch as they announce it this afternoon so I can continue to be wrong about timing

An opinion is only respectable if it can be defended. Respect people, not opinions
@skywake Has any Nintendo console released in June? A lot of times its September-November, March isn't terribly common if I'm remembering correctly, but it actually is really good timing (It worked well for Switch).
At this point it's very possible we're seeing a H2 release. Disappointing, since year 1 would have like half the content it could. I hope it's similar to GameCube, having Luigi's Mansion, Super Smash Bros. Melee, and Pikmin as the early titles (all great games!).
Here's my guess (ish - not really thought it through lol.)
January - Out of the question. Always a quiet period in gaming. Folk are skint and on a come down from the holidays. Play Donkey Kong Country.
February - Direct season. The tweet won't have a following tweet saying no Switch 2 news...but it's just the announcement date for later on in March. Highlights all the Switch games coming to keep us busy until Switch 2. Is there a February game? Hmm, Metroid Prime 4 maybe? Pokemon ZA?
March - Switch 2 event. Launch date no idea (September?) Everyone will be playing Xenoblade X.
May - Zelda TP / WW. Universal Studio's Nintendo World opens.
June - Direct. Plenty of Switch titles (third party) and some dives into Switch 2 games.
August/September. Mario 40th Anniversary. Switch 2 launch. Movie sequel reveal etc etc
Holidays - One of their big ip no doubt. Animal Crossing? (need a guess lol.)
Erm, yeah. Hopefully Nintendo read this and announce it sooner to surprise us hahahaha O.<
I never drive faster than I can see. Besides, it's all in the reflexes.
@MrCarlos46 March/April/May release feels like it could also be used as a good way to build hype. Sell plenty to early adopters and then have MK9 or whatever as a holiday game and sell a zillion consoles in Autumn after several months of positive media attention towards the new 3D Mario etc.
