I've used the amFilm brand on Amazon for my Switch and Switch 2 without issues.

I'm tired of reading reviews of Switch 2 stuff dated before June 5th on Amazon lol
Personally, I was fine even with the screen protection bundled with Nintendo's official case, but then I changed to JSAUX's anti-glare one to be able to play under the sun too. It works, but it surely comes with the downside of making the screen slightly more blurry, which is impossible to avoid when you seek for the anti-glare effect.
Anyway, the JSAUX installation process was pretty easy, so I'm sure even the normal version would be fine for you.

Nope, waste of money (again!) tried 4 times applying last screen protector horrible screen bubbles each time, just given up applying effin' screen protectors now - Guess I'll just have to be very careful with my Switch 2 then.

Thanks for the recommendations! I went for AmFilm as it got the most recommendations in this thread, and it is perfect. It fits wonderfully. It's easy to apply too. Very pleased, so thanks for all the help.

For me: Atrix - Tempered Glass Screen Protector for Nintendo.

It's an actual thick protective layer, not a sheet of adhesive film. There was also one bundled with my third party carry case. Cannot stress enough: do not buy Nintendo's carry case as the "protector" bundled in it is just a layer of film. Go third party and get the thicker protector. Not to mention the cases are (typically) more heavy duty.

I just applied the AmFilm, and it went very smoothly! It even came with a wet wipe and microfiber cloth!

Warning: Spicy opinions like "M&Ms are overrated." may leak from this unit!

Nope, another waste of money (and this one wasn't cheap either) I've now bought three different packets of these things and cant get one to apply without leaving horrible bubbles on the screen each time.
Guess I'm just going to have to leave my Switch 2 docked then (as indented) but this has quickly become a far too expensive experiment and a bit of a joke really.
I know it's probably my fumbling that's causing it but I really have no other option I have no one else that can do it for me nor do I live near any game stores that can.
I am stuck!
Don't suppose any of you live near Cockermouth in Cumbria do you?.. just joking

@Dhaladog UK resident mate??

Greetings from Donny, although I'm well versed in Cumbria and the lakes...

Give this a whirl: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0DS1S2Z7L?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed...

I have used similar/same brand for my Steamdeck, Switch OLED and now the above link was for my Switch2 a few weeks ago. It comes with sort of a letter-box border template to make sure you can apply precisely, and this also mitigates the air/bubbles. Before I found this brand I had the same issues!

I appreciate the heads up, however as I mentioned before I do not think I can apply a screen protector as I suffer from a disability that leads to shaking hands and a general lack of coordination (part of the reason why I am too scared to use it in handheld mode) and I have already wasted a substantial amount of money trying to apply a screen protector even those that claim to be 'easy' and 'bubble free' so I don't think buying another one would make any difference for me.

EDIT: Just checked, I have already tried that one and failed with all four of them.

@Dhaladog Apologies friend, I missed an earlier post where you speak to your disability...

Hopefully a friend or family member can take the reigns on this one? (I have an issue doing this with my iphone, 10% success rate when left to me!)

Wishing you luck

@Dhaladog Maybe find a friend or business that can put on tempered glass? You could ask a game store if they have someone on hand that's good at putting tempered glass on a switch, or ask a game store that offers console repair, smartphone repair business, computer repair business, maybe best buy, just thinking out loud here. If going in person isn't a problem, that may help grease the wheels.

When I use google maps, I can find local business nearby for game console repair, computer repair, smartphone repair. I know you don't need repair, but I'm using "repair" as a proxy for a business that will have someone on hand good with their hands, rather than a random employee that's never put tempered glass on before.

(forgive me if I missed an earlier point)

I haven't got anyone that can do it for me, I've just resigned myself to life without a screen protector and lots of luck.

Cancelled and swapped for this.. just been reprimanded by my Sister for having paid for a guy to come and install the Screen Protector "Are you mad, how do you know he's legit, giving him all your address details.." "Hmph paying for someone to come and stick a screen on your console, you must be bonkers what next you gonna start paying me for visiting you!"
The fact is I simply can't do it myself having tried numerous times resulting in horrible bubbles each time.
Hopefully this guy can sort it out for me, finally.

@Dhaladog Ha! I hope it all goes well. He shouldn't have any issues installing this one. So long as the screen is absolutely dust free, it'll adhere to it no problem. 🙂

So, OK FINALLY got my screen protector installed yeh! the guy that came and did it was very professional and it only took him approx 5 min and all things considered he didn't charge me that much either, there is a little micro bubble but he assures me that this will disappear over time.
God it feels so good to be protected.
