@MrCarlos46 It looks like a very soft salmon orange to my eyes, especially juxtaposed against the bright red background. The official reveal definitely gave off a salmon shade.
Another thing to note is that, viewed directly from the front in handheld mode, just a touch of space remains between the Joycon and tablet, allowing a small hint of color to peek in between. I think Nintendo intentionally added the color to those magnetic connectors because of this. It exudes a classy dash of color.
Personally I really like the baby blue / salmon orange changeup from the Switch 1's neon red/blue. And having only accents of color as opposed to the whole Joycon gives off a more sophisticated appearance. Perfect for a nicer, more expensive evolution.
Just hoping to see Switch 2 Joy-Cons that actually have colored shells like the magnetic connectors.
Any changes we can expect for the Switch 2 Pro Controller, like a different shape and obviously the “C” button?
Somehow it’d be funny if the shape is based on the DualSense controller.
But really, one thing I wanna see them add is a hybrid D-Pad akin to the one from the Xbox Series X controller, as well as adaptive triggers and a headphone jack so we can connect headsets to do voice chat in docked mode.

My question is how would they handle mouse functionality with a Pro controller? The Joycons feel like they could easily translate to a mouse, but I'm struggling to think of how they could make a Pro controller work with that feature. Controlling a mouse two-handed, which you would have to do for a Pro controller, might feel awkward.
@Bolt_Strike The answer is probably that you won't be able to use the mouse controls on the pro-controller. Games that use mouse controls probably aren't going to be that common. Your odd touch-screen game and your odd party game most likely.
"It is fate. Many have tried, yet none have ever managed to escape it's flow."
@VoidofLight I can see plenty of games like strategy games, shooters, point and click adventure games, etc using mouse controls. That being said, I imagine 99% of games that have them will do so optionally rather than as a requirement.
Thinking about the implementing built-in voice chat on Switch 2 part, how will one be able to do it if they can’t access the headphone jack in docked mode?
@FishyS Something I was thinking: Headphone jack on the Switch 2 Joy-Con grip, or Nintendo making their own wireless headset similar to the PS5 Pulse headset.
@MrCarlos46
Some doubt on this one but at one point I did hear that the Pro Controller had a headphone jack this time. It also had a couple of additional buttons on the back. The game of Chinese whispers ended with people conflating the paddles with the detachment levers on the JoyCon. But the extra buttons on the back above the "controller legs" were always about the Pro Controller
While I do think it's just an option and you'd be able to pick the Rare design for DK in the new Mario Kart, if it's not the case I have a feeling that the new 3D Mario would be a movie tie-in game.
