Maybe this was just a typo and direct should have been replaced with twitter post? I hate stopping the party but I don't believe that game knows when there is going to be a direct.
@troy258 I mean, it's possible, but it's good to keep in mind that Lego Super Mario only had a teaser in the tweet, not an actual announcement, and it specifically said stay tuned.
@link3710 true but it doesn't have to be a game. Maybe its just mario licenced lego that are going to be sold? I hope that it's game related and there is a direct this week but I wouldn't take this as conclusive evidence for a direct this week. I would just wait until nintendo announces it.
Perhaps these people's definition of a Direct is "Nintendo Video Content" and they mistakenly post about a Direct on behalf of the 7sec video.
Trying not to get my hopes up. I vote tomorrow anouncement or wait for April. Also, my money is on Corona being the reason for a postponed Direct. Many little anouncements lately that could have beeb part of it.
Well the Youtube playlist updated last Wednesday suggests there's some kind of Direct soon so I don't doubt the GAME info. That said, it could just be a Lego Nintendo collaboration specific Direct that's around the length of the Pokemon Direct in 2016 that revealed Pokemon Sun/Moon (5 minutes about the Lego Nintendo collaboration in general, 1 minute revealing the new game).
Well some news media sites reported on it. Seems legit to me. This combined with last week's playlist update, I'm guessing we're on for Thursday Direct:
Just a theory but I think it's an indie world presentation. I believe Sabi mentioned that there would be one in mid march. I'm just trying not to hype myself up to much because like everyone I have been waiting for a direct, for a long time and I just don't want to be dissapointed.
@dannyboi that wasn't sabi that wass kingzell. Sabi stated that he didn't hear anything about a direct in february. I'm still not taking it as the truth but I'm just preparing myself for a worst kind scenario.
That would be ridiculous if it were. We don't have any releases for the year after AC. We don't need Indie World. We need the biggest first party Direct that's ever been Directified.
@dezzy I definitly agree and I hope that sabi was wrong but maybe nintendo has some issues due the coronavirus and that's why they are trying to fill the gap with indies. But then again sony announced a first party game for june so I'm not sure. But in any case if it's an indie world i hope nintendo is ready for dislike bombing.
@grumblevolcano nope but i'm 90% sure that partnership is not game related. You can call me out if I'm wrong but I believe that It's just going to be licensed lego.
I genuinely had a dream about the Nintendo Direct the other night. That's how much of a supernerd I am. I dreamt that Breath of the Wild 2 was fully revealed and the way they'd built upon the original game world was by extending it out into the ocean, so it was a kind of Wind Waker-style game where you had half of a land-based open world, and then the sea full of small islands you had to sail to.
I think the chances of that being accurate are pretty slim though
@Dezzy February 2019 remains one of my favorite directs, and MM2 and Astral Chain are two of my most played games. Definitely would like something like that. Kind of expecting Bayo 3 and something new at the least.
@NintendoByNature I'd prefer something closer to the January 2018 Direct Mini. An equivalent to the February 2019 Direct this year (taking into account the Direct being a month later) would be something like August - December is insanely packed but before then all you have for upcoming is Animal Crossing next week, Xenoblade in late July and a few 3rd party titles in between.
