Topic: Next Nintendo Direct?

I want Woolly World on Switch.

one game I just got reminded of that could show up is MARVEL Cosmic Invasion, it's supposed to come out this year so I wouldn't be surprised if it gets a release date in this direct

I would say Halo is very likely and possibly one of the showstoppers for Joe Average. Remembering that for most average gamer PC gaming is non existent and cumbersome and XBox is dead. So I would say it would matter more than forum dwellers think

I think Luigi's Mansion is a fair shout. Probably also some more casual and lighter games. I still firmly believe that a Switch 2 edition of Switch Sports could be interesting. I also think that Animal Crossing is possible although not likely

Honestly though, I think this is the first Direct in a while where nobody has any idea what's going on

I'd say my top 3 wishes going into it would be Mario Kart World DLC, Some more free performance upgrades and a teeny tiny tease of the next 3D Mario but a look at the movie would also be nice

@skywake The only thing that makes me think Halo is unlikely for the Direct is that Halo Studios already confirmed announcements for the Halo World Championships in October so I think that's where Halo gets announced for PS5 and Switch 2. It doesn't fully rule out for the Direct like they could announce MCC in the Direct and then the rumoured remake gets announced at HWC but I'm leaning towards Starfield being the big Xbox announcement in the Direct. Cyberpunk had a redemption cycle with Phantom Liberty and then the Switch 2 port, Star Wars Outlaws is seemingly having a redemption cycle by releasing on Switch 2, Starfield feels like it could be set for a similar kind of situation.

I don't even know what this bingo card is, you guys. 😭 I just threw it together in like 17 seconds. There are at least 4 slots where if one happened the other can't, and a ton of bingo rows with multiple "not happening" things lol. Less than an hour to go, though! Honestly if the whole direct was a black screen with the text “Xenoblade patches for Switch 2” I’d be happy

Probably the worst direct I have ever seen from Nintendo, and we are approaching the holiday season.

Pretty much, I was also expecting more Splatoon Raiders info but I guess that will just happen early next year

Only Yoshi looked creative, maybe Pokopia if they make it run decent by launch. Otherwise this was anemic for the first major direct after a console launch. Not a single big hitter from Nintendo revealed?

@skywake Yes. If you are not huge Mario fan which took 20 minutes and some farming trash that took another 10 minutes that was like half of the Direct and for ME it was disappointing.

The only good things from the whole thing were the Mario movie and the RE games added to the Switch 2, but I know that they will not release in proper physical versions so ...
