Hear me out guys, but what if the single player mode of GTA VI gets a Cloud Version on Switch?

GTA 6 is already rumored to be one of the most expensive games out there. If Rockstar Games releases a cloud version and strips away the multiplayer, with only what I can assume will be a $10 discount, the outrage online will be endless.

They're better off remaking Chinatown Wars or putting the GBC/GBA games on the E-Shop.

I don't think the next Nintendo Direct will be appealing enough for me as my gaming direction slowly turned back to 3rd party games on PS4 / PS5 so every 3rd party announced from Nintendo Direct will be my skipping stones to check the possibility of PS4 / PS5 version of the same 3rd party games.

Further update on the Switch news section, now the Tomb Raider 1-3 and Wargroove 2 trailers are gone. There's only the infographic left.

Interesting, Nintendo's removed the September general Direct from the Switch news section.

I was curious and looked and it still exists in my Switch news. I can still watch the full direct video there and a ton of trailers including Tomb raider are still there. Maybe what displays depends on country for some reason? They have cleared up a bunch of articles recently in my version, but not those ones.

since Princess Peach Showtime will be playable on Nintendo Live 2024 japan, theres a possibility Nintendo will do a mini/general Nintendo Direct or a Direct focused on the game next january.

i like HD Rumble.

i don't see gta 6 being on switch perhaps a gta spin off thats more like gta 4 gfx(or a gta 4 remaster)

As for cloud versions it's a pass for me if you want re8 or whatever just get a series s/x or a ps5 or a pc/steam deck

Switch has enough exclusives to get away with not having 3rd party aaa stuff

Yeah, I don't expect any mainline Nintendo Direct anytime soon. Probably we get a Pokemon Presents on Pokemon Day first, then maybe a Switch 2 presentation sometime between March and June.

@Bolt_Strike If Switch 2 isn’t revealed until after March, I do think there’ll be a general Direct in the first couple of months. But I’m still leaning on Nintendo making the reveal before the financial year ends.

I will say, it's odd how quiet things are about 2 of the 3 known remaining main releases of the year. Batman Arkham Trilogy releases in a week and we've seen no gameplay since the reveal in June and digital preorders aren't even live yet. Meanwhile TPC are being rather quiet about Indigo Disk DLC, by now in the Sword/Shield promo cycle there was big info about Crown Tundra DLC:

(video aired on September 29th with release date of October 22nd)

There's been plenty of info about Dragon Quest Monsters The Dark Prince though.

Didn’t furukawa explicitly say that there won’t be a new console tease or reveal before march 2024? The next direct is February, so it will most likely be some trailers for already announced games and an additional remake

@TheBigBlue Thought he said there wouldn’t be any new hardware releasing this financial year which is why people like myself started assuming a reveal could well happen.

@Grumblevolcano The pokemon thing is because they want to keep most of the new stuff in the dLC under wraps. We got previews showcasing gameplay recently, but I doubt we’ll get a large trailer.

Nah, I think we know a lot about Indigo Disk actually. There's just not much to it. It seems like SV DLC just has less content than SwSh's and there's less in terms of extra features. It's mainly just new areas and Pokemon and a short story arc. But in terms of "extra features" we have plenty... by Game Freak's standards (not much to us, but Game Freak probably thinks it's enough). From the August 8th Pokemon Presents and the Pokemon World Championships trailer on we know the following:

-We seem to be able to unlock the ability for Koraidon/Miraidon to fly freely.
-We can catch all of the past gen starters somehow.
-There is a room called the League Club which we can redecorate and we can also invite Gym Leaders to visit and rematch them.
-Then of course there's new Pokemon such as Archaludon, Raging Bolt/Iron Crown, and Terapagos.

There's probably not much more than that in the DLC period and they're probably not revealing anything more than they already have.

@Bolt_Strike Feature wise, that’s about it. The main draw for this DLC seems like it’ll be the story itself. They’re teasing around 2 new areas, being an expansion on Area Zero and the bio-dome in the academy. The academy seems like both a post-game battle facility along with a proper secondary school. There’s also more pokemon than the ones that got revealed, but not that many more. Mostly legendaries and a mythical.

Even if GTA6 appears during the show...

I love it when a good December 5th at 9am EST shuts me up. https://twitter.com/RockstarGames/status/1730587560726892883

(I'm not saying this means GTA6 won't be at TGA, I'm just saying it's less likely now.)

Game Award will be always Blah.
The games trailers last time was Blah too, except the Vision of Mana.
