Topic: Miitomo Discussion

The app is incompatible with my tablet (2015 RCA Viking Pro 10.1), which is the only "smart" device I have unfortunately. Whenever I spring for an Android phone, I'll give Miitomo a try.

@Octane: I don't know. I honestly never use my phone for anything internet related except for getting sports updates. How do I check that and possibly update if possible? Also, in the conversation on the news article people were talking about downloading the apk. What is that, and how would I do that?

Edit: Never mind. I just found it says it is Android version 2.3.3, and it says my system is currently up to date. Does that mean there is nothing I can do to get it?

I'm trying to use Miitomo through an apk (kindle fire doesn't have access to the play store). However it seems to be loading in an infinite loop.

Oh well, I'll just wait to play it.

Welp, one of the few times I regret not getting a new phone since mine is android 4.0.4 and it says it's up to date.

There is a way to update your android phone's OS through certain programs on your PC

@Xyphon22: Currently it's not possible to get it working on your phone then. I'm not sure if there are legal or free ways to update the OS, never had to do it myself.

I have been enjoying the app already. Got two friends to join me on this miitomo adventure and some of the answers have been hilarious. Let's see how long this can hold our attention.

Go to your gift box in the menu and download the hat. Then you can equip it.

I can't download Miitomo on my phone.......so um......what's the deal?

@Socar: A lot of us here aren't compatible. You can try some PC Android emulators. Though Nintendo probably blocked a lot of them from working.

So when did this go up?...Because my account is being stupid with the notifications right now.

Uh looks like I won't be using Miitomo. I tried to make a Twitter account but then it asked for a phone number. Hopefully they update it so you can add people by Miiverse or something.

@BurningSonic: Well, you can use Facebook or face-to-face to add people too.

@DefHalan: Well for the face-to-face method no one I know is going to get it. And I assume you also need a phone number to make a Facebook account?

For those having trouble finding the app on Google Play or not being able to install the app. You will want to try updating you OS. Go to Settings, System, About Device, Software Updates. If that doesn't work I believe there is a way to update it through some programs on PC, I know I once accidentally updated my phone once when going through some developer programs, but I don't remember exactly how I did it.

@BurningSonic: I don't know about Facebook. I have had my account for near 10 years, don't remember how to set it up lol.

I have only owned the app for 3 hours, most of that time I have been driving and working. And I have completed all of the My Nintendo Missions except 3. I need 1 more comment on my answers. Need a friend to listen to 1 more of my answers. And I need 5 hearts on my answers... no one likes my answers
