Feels like we're due something from the DS/Wii era, I'm gonna go for Wii Sports Resort

I'll throw Metroid II in as a backup though

Nintendo's been acknowledging Other M's existence via the Nintendo Today Metroid A-Z posts (e.g. For "G" (Galactic Federation) they mentioned a bunch of Other M characters), so I'm going to predict Other M for Nintendo Music this week.

@Dev-N I'm still holding out for Super Mario 3D World's soundtrack, so that's what I'll guess too! One of these days...

I downloaded this app on launch day, and I've used it at least one or two days a week since! I can't wait to start participating in the weekly "guess which soundtrack is being added this week" competition on this thread!

@ShieldHero We've been not that great at guessing. Nintendo seems to vary between tracks with anniversaries nearby, tracks which somehow relate to recent games or updates, and just picking something completely random and unpredictable.

When in doubt pick a random NES soundtrack

@FishyS, I know, that's what makes it fun! I think I've already got a guess in mind for tomorrow's drop!

My prediction for this week is Captain Toad Treasure Tracker. Nintendo's recently been focusing on games connected to Switch 2 in some way (Yoshi's Story was the exception) and Captain Toad got a free update which added stuff like Gameshare support. I contemplated predicting it next week (the game came to Switch on July 13th 2018) but I think they'd pick something DK to hype up Bananza that week.

I'm just gonna throw something out there: Xenoblade Chronicles. The series hasn't gotten any representation on Nintendo Music yet, and this year is the 15th anniversary of the first game, after all. Also, it's been a good while since there was a new Wii soundtrack. Nothing new from the Wii since Skyward Sword, if I recall correctly.

I'd love you to be correct, it's wild that the series is unrepresented on the app and that they didn't commemorate the anniversary.

I'll go with Kirby and the Amazing Mirror or Metroid Zero Mission again. GBA is the most barren of the platforms which have strong presence on the Switch so I got to believe more is coming soon.

Always difficult to know how far they'll fling us back after a Switch game, we're well overdue a GBA game so I'll go with Kirby & The Amazing Mirror.
I think I'll also throw in Super Metroid for good measure.

Ocarina of Time twice before Majora once is hilarious, just the same OST and nothing else!

I feel like whoever is in charge of this app enjoys being purposefully unpredictable.

This should have been with Majora’s Mask and Majora’s Mask 3D, as much as I love this OST, this is a huge disappointment tbh

Is there any actual difference with this soundtrack? Or just higher quality sound font?

Also I guess we have our answer as to whether they'd release the OSTs for Emerald/Platinum separately from RS and DP

Not what I expected, but I'll certainly give this a listen in the near future since I've never listened to the OOT 3D soundtrack before, but I have listened to the original a ton of times since I have a copy of that soundtrack on my phone!
