Topic: Nintendo Music App

i mean... i don't really remember any music from this game but it is quite bulky, the top tracks length is 3 hours and 41 minutes. feels like the past month or so has been pretty good with releases size-wise, though, doesn't it?

Hey, not too bad. I love this game so I'm happy the soundtrack is here. I guess I was kind of right since in one of my previous posts, I did say that I thought they would want to add a Mario soundtrack!

Man, I guesses Mario Party 8 a few weeks ago, but I didn't actually expect a Mario Party! I'll have to give it a listen!

They’ve also added the switch 2 editions for botw and TOTK. Meaning that we basically have three versions of botw on the app that are all the exact same

They’ve really been adding 2024 games, haven’t they? Princess Peach Showtime, Paper Mario TTYD remake and original, and now this. Maybe I’ll be expecting Zelda Echoes of Wisdom before too long?

I’d appreciate Mario vs. Donkey Kong. Always liked that underrated soundtrack, original or remake!

This is actually a really great soundtrack as far as Mario Parties go!

Which is incredible to think as both composers (Shigenobu Okawa and Yuta Yamaguchi) have barely any credits prior to this game.

The order is random but the track selection is just a compilation of every individual Top tracks playlist bar most NES games (the 26 smaller ones that were added simultaneously, and NES versions of games with Famicom Disk System equivalents) and Ocarina of Time 3D.

Alright, I think it's about time to guess next week's soundtrack drop. Since we're allowed two guesses, I will go with The Legend of Zelda Link's Awakening (1993, or both 1993 and 2019) since it's been a hot minute since the last Zelda soundtrack, or Metroid Prime 2 Echoes since next week is Prime 4's launch.

My guesses are going to be Metroid Prime 2 for the normal one and Nintendo Switch Sports for the goofy one!

Since Metroid prime 4 releases next week, I’ll guess prime 2, super Metroid or zero mission.

As Metroid Prime 4 releases this week, I will guess Super Metroid or Metroid Prime 2.

Plus my obligatory Majora’s Mask guess as a backup.

Guessing Super Metroid or Prime 2 for obvious reasons, but I'm also gonna go out on a limb and predict Twilight Princess. The weekly music drop is on Tuesdays in Japan, and Tuesday is the game's 19th JP anniversary. It would also time nicely for me, since I'm in middle of a playthrough of that game right now lol, would make it easier to remember what songs I wanted to add to my playlist.

My guess is Mario Kart Wii!

@Robot99, in that case, I'll add in Super Metroid as my third guess.

@PikminMarioKirby, that was the first Nintendo game I ever played, and I still remember the character and stage selection screen music to this day. I would play that song on repeat while doing homework for hours 🤣.

For November we got a soundtrack from every new system from 2006 - 2025 except Wii U (Wii Fit Plus for Wii, AC New Leaf for 3DS, Kirby's Dream Buffet for Switch 1, Super Mario Party Jamboree for Switch 1+2).

So I'm going to predict the original Hyrule Warriors for Wii U this week (also adding in the extra music from the 3DS/Switch ports).

I think Super Metroid is more likely than Metroid Prime 2, since the former is on Nintendo Classics. So I'll go with SM as my first guess. My second guess is The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom. If I can indeed have a third guess, I'll throw in my obligatory guess for Super Mario 3D World. I know we got a Mario soundtrack last week, but that one is a spinoff. Plus you never know.
