I do think that the app would benefit from crediting the composers. As for next week's music drop, I'll go with The Legend of Zelda Link's Awakening (specifically the Game Boy version) again.
My top 5 favorite games:
1: Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1
2: Pokémon Violet
3: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
4: The Legend of Zelda Link's Awakening (2019)
5: Animal Crossing New Horizons

Once again I'll be guessing Super Mario 3D World this weekend. It's this game's anniversary today (the US release in particular), and I think they want to add a Mario soundtrack, so that's what I'll be going with. Plus I still really want that soundtrack to come. I'd love to have the Snowball Park theme for when I decorate for Christmas!
Maybe Bowser's Fury as well, to go along with 3D World. If not, Super Mario 3D Land is my backup guess, or a dual Nintendo Classics/Music release for Super Mario Sunshine.

Ask if you want to be Switch friends with me, but I'd like to know you first. Thanks! ❤️
I'm not entirely sure what the missing functionality is exactly but I can choose to playback on some audio devices such as my soundbar in Spotify but not the Nintendo App. Means I can't put festive playlists on in the living room.
I'm going to maintain my Zelda guesses from last week.
Ah yeah, the other features I want. I'll also mention composer credits, and I've been wanting a desktop version for PCs as well. Though I'm not sure how likely the desktop version will be, since Nintendo focuses on mobile devices and their own consoles.

I'd love to see a website version of some sort! Other than that, I'm happy with the app as-is.
My goofy guess this week will be Super Princess Peach, mainly cuz I listened to the soundtrack the other day and quite liked it lol! My "boring" guess is SM3DW, since that has an anniversary soon (Sunday, I think).
November so far has been very heavy on newer systems (1 3DS game, 1 Switch game, 1 Wii game) so between Prime 4 being the only 1st party game left of the year and the SNES 35th anniversary being very recent (November 21st), I'm predicting Super Metroid.
...okay, i lied, i do at least want android auto support. makes using the app a little annoying since i can't skip any songs from the dashboard (the app has been a go-to for my trips going to and from college to back home).
anyways i also think snes is likely, but i wanna say something stupider, like super punch-out.. super mario rpg would be cool since i assume square isn't as weird with nintendo about that stuff anymore...
remember; your chicken parm is not safe around me!
I'm gonna do a wild guess for this week: Kirby Air Riders. Our first full Switch 2 OST release. Do it, Nintendo and Sakurai! And then I guess I'll throw Mario 3D World and Sunshine out there to cover my bases (but you know that we're gonna get something a lot more random than that lol)
Regarding what they could add to the app on the functionality side... quite a lot, actually. But I'll stick to what's been affecting me more immediately and name 3 things they should fix:
Raise or remove the cap on playlists. 2000 tracks is a lot, but I'm gonna hit that limit eventually, my favorites playlist is already over 450 (and that's with me regularly purging tracks that I've lost interest in).
Make it that downloaded tracks actually allow you to play things offline. As it is at the moment, the app continues to try playing your downloaded tracks online for some unholy reason, leading to occasional bouts of unfixable stuttering, and my playlist will pause entirely if it isn't online in between songs. The only thing downloading currently does is prevent pauses mid-song. This annoying "always-streaming" behavior also drains my battery faster than it needs to.
Provide more stats that we can view. Listening history is nice, but I also want to see how many songs from each game are on a playlist, most-listened songs, etc. (On a related note, they should have a proper "trending songs" section, not whatever on earth the "top tracks" stuff is.)
I also agree with some other stuff people have mentioned, such as proper car functionality, crediting composers, or a PC app (and I'd also add that a Switch app would be good and should've happened already). But those don't affect me personally.

@Robot99 Those would all be nice for sure! By the way, the "Top Tracks" doesn't refer to the most popular ones, but rather the primary songs in the OST. So the little 3 second victory jingles aren't included, but the menu theme is, and the item unlocked tune isn't included, but the level background is, etc.

Oh, to be clear, I was referring to the general "top tracks" playlist that changes daily - as far as I can tell, it's randomly generated, because there isn't any clear rhyme or reason as to what gets put on there.

Welp, I was right about us getting our first Switch 2 title, but my math was way off, lol. Both versions of Super Mario Party Jamboree are now available! A dedicated Switch 2 section was also added.

Switch 2 section is now live featuring Breath of the Wild, Tears of the Kingdom, and Super Mario Party Jamboree (all redirects to their respective Switch offerings).

Super Mario Party Jamboree is this week's game, the first Mario Party on the app. Not familiar with this OST since I've barely played Jamboree, but like most Mario Parties, it's a lengthy list. Just like Kirby's Dream Buffet, I'll have to do some serious listening to figure out my top five here!
@Robot99 As much love as that game has gotten on Nintendo Music, I wouldn't be surprised at all to see the full OST come sooner rather than later.
