Well, this checks the boxes we all had laid out - it's a Switch game, it's a Kirby game. Just... Not the one we expected! I'll definitely listen to it on the drive home though, apparently it's pretty solid.
i wonder if that's the reason this game came first? it kinda just has a selection of a bunch of older games' songs built in, so alongside the remixes it helps to cover a lot of the series, in a way.
you better give me super star or planet robobot soon or im gonna have some choice words with you, nintendo music team...

I think this is the first time they've added a digital only game isn't it?
Curious to see how long it takes them to get to their digital only releases on the older systems. There's a trio of Japan only WiiWare titles that I'd like to see
Prediction time! Gonna go with the dual Classics/Music release of Super Mario Sunshine that I've already unsuccessfully tried predicting a couple of times. I've gotta be right about one or the other eventually, lol.

I think they're gonna mostly avoid future NSO releases until those games are actually out.
I'm gonna guess randomly...Super Metroid. Because Prime 4 is nearly out and its a weird game to not be on there already. (I almost wanna guess Prime 2 because I still think that's gonna get the remaster treatment instead of NSO)
I'm going to predict DKC Returns considering the game's 15th anniversary is on Friday and the DKC franchise's 31st anniversary is on Tuesday. Perhaps alongside it they add a DK game to NSO like DK64 considering the current pattern suggests November's Expansion Pack additions are N64/GBA.
@Grumblevolcano question, has anyone ever made a comprehensive list of each nso release and sorted them by date? i need more useless spreadsheets to track this with

Let's see here... they just did a Switch game last week with over a hundred songs, so how about... let's go with Zelda Link's Awakening (Game Boy), maybe they'll also throw in the 2019 version as well, though I wouldn't be surprised if they save that one for another week.
My reasoning is simple: it's been almost two months since they've last done a Zelda game (they did Adventure of Link back in late September), and looking back at the release times of past Zelda soundtracks on the app, I think it's about time for another.
My top 5 favorite games:
1: Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1
2: Pokémon Violet
3: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
4: The Legend of Zelda Link's Awakening (2019)
5: Animal Crossing New Horizons

Think I'll go for the remainder of Splatoon 3's music, Super Metroid, or Super Mario 3D World. It's been a while since they've added Splatoon music in general, too.

Ask if you want to be Switch friends with me, but I'd like to know you first. Thanks! ❤️
@D-Star92 I still don't want to play this guessing game, but I think Splatoon 3's OST won't be complete until after it's been a year since Ordertune released in Japan, so from mid-December on.
Considering we just got a switch game last week, it’ll probably be something small this week. I’m gonna guess phantom hourglass or spirit tracks cause why not
I think it will be something Mario this week. I'll throw in Mario Kart: Super Circuit (though I'm a bit doubtful as last week's was a kind of 'racing' game) and Super Mario Sunshine
