@Y2Josh: Yep it does have its own PPV I think its right before SummerSlam but I can be wrong. As for the Triple H and Taker fight. I think at that point they decided to end it due to Takers back. They probably had more to go but Takers back wasnt going to let him. I agree with the Cena/Miz fight that was a freakin joke. Personally I would have loved it if the Rock restarted it and put him in the match lol. Any yeah I forgot about the Sheamus match. I guess for whatever reason they decided not to do it.
One other thing anyone know who this mystery Raw GM is???

I haven't seen anything about him being seriously injured either. He was probably injured before the match though. And he'll probably be gone until 2 months before WM28 lol
To my knowledge, Taker was not legit-injured (beyond the usual match wear-and-tear on his already battered body). But with the type of schedule he works these days, it's likely it's time for another of his brief hiatuses; not to mention it lets HHH save some heat despite the loss, for having taken Taker to his "limit". I'm betting Taker will be away for a few months, or maybe will be away until Summerslam or so.
Taker really cant handle anything now adays I hate to say that especially since he is my favorite but the years have been catching up to him these past few months. Really the only time I see him is PPV. He might make an appearance on Smackdown but use its a promo or something along those lines and hes usually not in a match. I wouldnt be surprised at all after next years WM when he hits 20 - 0 he retires.

Yeah, totally. Certainly glad they caught it before he had the eventual rematch at Extreme Rules with Del Rio; that seriously could have resulted in a horrible tragedy. But at any rate he had an amazing career, unfortunate he doesn't get to retire on his own terms.
I'm just glad he is taking the doctors advice. I know wrestlers can be pretty hard headed but it's just not worth it and like you said he had a great career.

Who knows maybe he will come back one day like Shawn Michaels did. When he broke his back he was off for years and all of a sudden he came back. Sucks though since he was one of my favorites.

He'd make an awesome GM provided they didn't team him up with Vickie again... that really sucks, though. I do hope WWE is going to take care of him after all the years of solid entertainment he's provided them with; he's been one of my favorite personalities for a very long time.

I am sure WWE will take good care of him. The will probably have him do movies or other related WWE stuff like what Steve Austin does now since he retired from the ring. Who knows maybe he will be a manager or something or like you said GM. Personally I think they should make him Christain's manager I would so love to see that.

The way this reads I don't think a come back is in the cards.
The Rated-R Superstar had been suffering numbness and uncontrollable trembling in his arms and hands. This is not the first time Edge has experienced these symptoms of nueropraxia. An MRI administered at Atlanta Midtown Diagnostic Imaging last Monday was sent to Dr. Joseph Maroon, a renowned neurosurgeon and professor of neurosurgery at The Pittsburgh School of Medicine. After careful examination of the MRI, it was determined that Edge would never be cleared to compete again, and thus, he is forced to retire.
In 2003, Edge underwent a two level spinal fusion of the discs between his C5, C6 and C7 vertebrae. After being cleared to compete, The Rated-R Superstar returned to the ring, resulting in stenosis of the spine, or a narrowing of the spinal column, above and below the fused discs. This narrowing resulted in less and less of the vital fluid needed to protect the spinal cord. Medical professionals cannot clear Edge to compete ever again in WWE since doing so could result in paralysis or even death.

With Jericho gone, and now Edge, the two best heels to ever grace WWF/E, who do we have for top dog of being heel? Miz? He's good, but he'll never be Jericho/Edge good.

I've seen Edge live before at some WWE events. Truly a great performer! I don't watch wrestling much these days (no cable TV) but I still try to keep up with the wrestlers I know and still remember. xD

Yea I read that after I posted the comment. It sounded similar to what Steve Austin is going through and the reason he left the ring so as I said before I am sure that WWE will probably fix him up with something else in the company.

I could see him as a commentator. I think he'll take a much needed long break though.
Please let him replace Michael Cole, please let him replace Michael Cole...

They really need to put CM Punk back in the main heel spotlight. @TBD, silence is better than Cole, GDYMC !!!
I honestly feel, now that they hype the streak up to being bigger than the championship, A rising star should end it or Taker retires with it. Ill be pissed if HHH does it next year.
