when I think of Samus, I think of Samus in Other M, Not because it shows Samus in a vulnerable state and i'm into that, No not at all, It's because it shows the most human side of Samus I've seen yet and it really helped me like her Character more (Minor Note:I haven't played Metroid Prime alot so if it somehow characterizes Samus better than Other M i'm sorry, I'm just ignorant to the Prime series) So what Samus Aran do you think of? (Minor Note 2: I've never been good at making Topics in forums so please forgive me if it stinks)

lol, most people feel this way I think. Other M was so heavy-handed with its story telling, I think that ruined Samus' character in a way that couldn't be forgiven.

Myself? I guess the storyline is one of the main reasons I enjoy games to a degree, and it was a welcome addition. Why it had to be so trite and involve ridiculous personalities like tyrannical Adam and strangely happy Anthony... character development was not an emphasis. The resulting awkwardness came from shallow characters married with the "make your own story" mentality from the early / Prime games. Experiencing the world of Samus still seems void of a larger picture, despite efforts to create a unified storyline.

I think of them all being the same. She's not like Link where he has different forms that actually look different from each other.

Now that I think about it, I should have named this "Did you like the Other M Samus" cause that was really what I was trying to get at, though it saddens me when I see comments saying Other M ruined Samus' character beyond forgiveness...

PS:Zero Suit isn't necessarily "creepy fan service" it's just the only logical way for Samus to have maximum mobility...AND i'm a sucker for skin-tight future suits (not just on women) I just love the look!
