This one remains one of my favorite games, ever. And, George Fan, the creator of Plants Vs. Zombies, also made this game. PvZ was the "pseudosequel" to this game.

@mystman12 I remember Emergency Patrol. Good times. Played that a lot on road trips as a little kid.

This is probably the best match three game I've ever played, hands down. It has ended up influencing me as far as game design goes, too.

Kaeru no Tame ni Kane wa Naru - "For the Frog the Bell Tolls".

It was only released in Japan and is now available on the Japanese eShop. A pretty deep Zelda-ish action adventure that actually provided the game engine for Link's Awakening which appeared the following year.
