Okay, I don't hate Nintendo of anything, it's just that Microsoft and Sony have consoles that sell more. So just in case Nintendo dies, I got a backup plan that'll work for sure.
1. Microsoft was never wronged.
Nintendo had done something ahem terrible to Sony. Microsoft, not so much. So maybe you could put games on Xbox.
2. Computers and Steam Machines
Computers can play some pretty cool games. Games like Mario and The Legend of Zelda are cool games. You probably see my point. And better yet, Steam Machines play games on steam. SO, Mario on Computers will Probably do
3. Mario on Phones? No. Pokemon on phones? Yes.
Some games just aren't meant to be on phones. Pokemon, However might actually work. Other games, like Art Academy, Big Brain Academy and Brain Age might do well too.
So you get what I'm saying?
"I'll take a potato chip... AND EAT IT!"
Light Yagami, Death Note
"Ah, the Breakfast Club soundtrack! I can't wait 'til I'm old enough to feel ways about stuff!"
Phillip J. Fry, Futurama

Catgirls are beautiful creatures that need to be respected and loved, especially by human males. Do everyone a favor and keep kitty girls alive.
You probably going get a lot of hate for this kind of thread.
But I going answer anyway. I never goes any wrong with Steam at all at least right now. I think Nintendo should be owned by third-party IF Nintendo went bankrupt. As for which third-party then I wouldn't know to be honest.
if Nintendo dies I'll become my own game developer play my own games and support the indie developer community so gaming will a least have a soul
ok there's steam too and Playstation is awesome because of Japanese games but I like to play extreme end of the world now we're rebels drama when I have the chance because it sounds ridiculous. not that I wouldn't help indies they rock when come with fun ideas

Nintendo will never die so long as it has a place in my heart.

If Nintendo dies, nothing will change, at least not for the worst. There'll be no more DSes, but Sony will be more than ready to take their place in that space. They haven't exactly had a positive influence on the console space in over a decade, so them going out won't change a thing there. Only problem would be no more Nintendo games, and companies that big don't just "die" - someone else will buy up their properties for sure, so even then, those games will still exist.
Nothing will change. There's no need for a backup plan. The rest of you might need to start buying other consoles, though.

As @ogo79 said, the SNS-RZ-USA is a prime giveaway that it's not a legit retail cart.
And yes, he is (usually) always right, and he is (almost) the sexiest gamer out there (not counting me) ;)
Me, as a more grown-up Nintendo fan (I.e I'll play Zelda, but NOT Kirby or AC) can definitely understand why Sony, especially, do more successfully than Nintendo. Nintendo make far too many games which are, basically, rated 'U'.
This generation are more interested in stealing cars, killing and chaos - rather than dreasing a cartoon charcter up in a cute outfit.
@Veloster Well, you're missing out on some fantastic games, but that's just my opinion.
Anyways, if Nintendo went bankrupt, I'd definitely be sad. But hey, I still have my PC.
I'm really running out of ideas for my signature.
I've got the power! The Hidden Power!
I used to run on blast processing. Now I'm 64-bit.
Currently playing: ARK: Survival Evolved, Splatoon I AM STILL NEAR-PERFECT!!!
Er. Don't you think "die" is quite a strong word? It'd probably be more reasonable to say "bankrupt" or "cease operations." I wouldn't know the consequences.

It's not that I have anything against these games. It's just - I don't really feel like they're the kind of games someone my age should be playing. Fair enough, you could argue the point that I love Zelda and Sonic (1 and 2) and Mario (64), but I feel there's a massive difference between that and something as juvenile (probably bad word choice, but you get the idea) as AC:NL.

don't see why, people have been playing nicely so far.... no uprage, no wall of text, no links to prove irrefutable truth or such stuff and no swearing either it's actually the nicest doom thread around here...
