Topic: What Game(s) are You Currently Playing?

Finally getting around to Captain Toad, arguably the only Wii U game I feel like I missed out on by not playing. It and Affordable Space Adventures and NES Remix 2 I guess.

Pretty neat little game, charming and fun. It's probably the most indie-ish Mario game I've ever played, barring Super Paper Mario.

Some PC gaming over the past few days. Played Sango Fighter again, played through story mode again and battle mode a few times.

For my classic game night, I played Unreal Tournament 2004. A game I haven't played in a very long time. I have this game digitally on GOG before Epic delisted it, however I actually own a physical release of the game. The original release of it with the game on six CDs. I've had this copy for that long. Played through the single player campaign tonight, and playing it brought back fond memories.

@D-Star92 It's cool Pop'n TwinBee has co-op. Yup. I try jumping over the shots, but keep getting hit. When the shield's up, my shots don't affect him, and the ice beam freezes him. Maybe I should try the ice beam when he moves the shield, then fire at him. That strategy worked with one of the bigger enemies tossing projectiles at me (they were present in Fireman's stage).

Tonight I played Mario Kart World and played a good handful of online races, including those in the Mario Day event. I tried having a friend join me while I was playing in the event, but apparently the game didn't let them. So we ended up playing regular old online races afterward. Still a fun session regardless.

@Sunsy Yeah, the Ice Slasher could work. It can be a pretty handy weapon, I've used it against those big jumping enemies in Mega Man 1 (NES). At least in the NES games, the Sniper Joes can take hits while they're jumping, but I'm sure that also applies to the Game Boy game. Hopefully that last bit will help you out, too.
