Been playing Disney Dreamlight Valley and got a few quests done. Also been playing The Disney Afternoon Collection and finished DuckTales. Thinking of playing Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers next in that collection. Can you tell I've been in a Disney mood tonight?

@Sunsy Oh nice, glad to hear it's one of your favorites. Yeah, Galactic Attack (which is what it was called here in the US when it came out on the Saturn) is honestly a very good and underrated game. I like how you could fire homing lasers at enemies below your ship. It is a little pricey though, so maybe wait for it to go on sale. Kind of a shame it isn't compatible with Switch 2 because of game progression, as well... hopefully they'll fix it.

Oh wow, that's a lot more than what I've had. I guess that makes sense since the other modes only stick around for a limited time. I'm not huge into time-limited events, but if I remember I'll try it out.

Ask if you want to be Switch friends with me, but I'd like to know you first. Thanks! ❤️

F-Zero 99 this morning and I unlocked all the rewards to the Meteor Spark event! I unlocked a boost and another backdrop, also two special borders for unlocking all eight rewards. Made it to race four in a Grand Prix, and did a bunch of F-Zero 99 races, two of which got top 10 and got my highest rank yet, fourth!

Which game is this? I don't see Galactic Attack available on Switch or Switch 2.

Yeah, I'm now wondering if more play Grand Prix or other ticketed modes in general. The Grand Prix I did had more racers than the single race F-Zero 99 mode.

@Sunsy It's right here. Congrats on getting everything in the event, by the way!

@D-Star92 Oh ok, I didn't see the Layer Section part. I was looking for a standalone game, lol. Thanks for the heads up then. Thanks! It was nice to pick up and play F-Zero 99 again, even if it was for some cosmetic rewards.

While I'm still mad about the addition of the word filter, I have been enjoying Pokémon LeafGreen on Switch a bit more after playing it a bit more. I'll keep playing it for now, but even if I do beat it, I'm not giving it the 10/10 score that I give to most Pokémon games. The most it will get is an 8/10, and that's being generous.

Some fighting action for the evening. Played Sango Fighter on PC again, just love the arcade-style battle mode. I also played Tuff E Nuff again on Nintendo Classics because it's one of my favorites. It's rather awesome I completed both games without getting a game over and needing to use a continue once.

Had a bit of time this morning so I played some Forza Horizon 2. Nothing much mainly just drove around to get a bit closer to discovering all roads. Currently I am 276 out of 315 roads. I know where a good majority are I just have been on that side of the map yet.

Forza Horizon 3 will still be my favorite cause you never forget your first, but its easy to see the ground work being set in Forza Horizon 2. In fact 2 reminds me alot of 3 just smaller in size if that makes sense.

Final Fantasy XII (PlayStation 2)
Nice, I reached the endgame now. If I want to, I can just fly to the last destination and beat the game, or I can explore the world and do sidequests. I am really enjoying this journey, so I will stay a little longer.

Played more Disney Dreamlight Valley tonight. Thinking about what realm I should visit next after having WALL-E over. Not gonna lie... this game was a much needed change of pace after playing Hollow Knight.

@Sunsy You're welcome, I'm glad I could help. Layer Section is the Japanese version of that game, I just looked it up. No problem!

I've been playing Moonlighter.

I recently discovered pixel art games and I've been loving them. I started by playing Moonlighter and now I want to play as many games with the same art style as possible.

Some early morning gaming because I'm waiting for a delivery. Played another round of Sango Fighter. Being an obscure PC fighting game led me to look it up, and it lead to learning about an obscure console called the Super A'can, and learning the PC version of the game made it stateside in the 90's as shareware (the current license of the updated DOS re-release is freeware, which is what I'm playing). Glad I found out about this one, it's a good fighting game and I was looking for a good DOS era fighter to play.

Played Pop'n TwinBee this morning on Nintendo Classics. Now I wish this came stateside back in the 90's, this game is an even better version of TwinBee. I think I tried this when it first came to the SNES app, I had a suspend point already saved. Playing it more I love the improvements to it. There's a life bar, more bells to get power ups. The graphics are beautiful and the music is great. Also, I love the adorable cutscenes in between the levels.

@D-Star92 Oh ok, when I looked it up, I noticed another name, RayForce in the arcades, and Gunlock in Europe... boy this game went by many names, lol. BTW, I played Pop'n TwinBee this morning.

So I decided to check out the demo for Denshattack! and, oh boy, is it a blast! I think once you learn the controls and how to the more difficult tricks and you get that perfect run, it's going to feel so, so sweet!

Definitely picking this up on release in June!

@Sunsy Lol I saw that too. There's so many titles that game goes by... what a confusing mess. Why couldn't they just pick one and stick with it? Oh nice! Glad you're enjoying it. It's a good shoot-em-up for sure. Perhaps we could try out the game in co-op sometime.

Playing some of these 1990's fighting games on Nintendo Classics and the one on my PC got me in the mood for SNK Heroines on Switch, a more modern fighter. Played through story mode as Athena and Terry for fun this evening, and cleared it. Not bad considering I haven't played this game in literal years.

@D-Star92 I'm waiting for the mysterious fifth title to just show up, lol. Maybe, could be fun. It's nice this one has co-op too.

This morning, I played Mega Man on Game Boy via Nintendo Classics. I cleared Iceman and Fireman's levels. Took awhile to get the hang of and having to use the rewind function. I had to get back in the swing of it since I haven't played a Mega Man game since the Wii. My only frustration is that enemy with the shield. Can't seem to defeat them without getting hit. Though I did like using the ice beam on some of the enemies and then firing at them.

Thanks @D-Star92 and @Tasuki for the heads up on these games. It's good so far.

@Sunsy Yeah the first Mega Man game on Game Boy was good. After that the games kinda dropped off till five. I am not sure if thats because of them being outsourced to someone else or what. Dont get me wrong they are playable just the quality is not there.

Leveled up a bit, defeatet some mobs in Nabudis, and got the strongest weapon in the game. Helped the Garif defeat a mob. I like how the dialogue of the villagers reflected that. The Garif village is one of my favourite places. It makes me feel calm, or prudent like the warriors there. The more I play Final Fantasy XII, the more I love it. It is just so deeply alright.

Just finished the demo for Denshattack. I had to check it out because I’ve never seen a game quite like it and because I’ll play just about anything Tee Lopes composes. What a fun few levels. From the great gameplay concept it would be very easy to make a bunch of boring levels to compensate, but at least from what I’ve seen so far there’s a lot of gameplay variety, great visuals, and good music as I expected. Definitely will be picking this game up when it comes out.

@Sunsy Yeah, I thought it would be fun to play that game in co-op... plus it's been a while since we last played online. Oh nice, I think it's a decent Mega Man game. I think I know what enemies you're talking about. Good old Sniper Joes... they can be a pain to deal with for sure. For me, it's been a little while since I played MMIII. I know I've got only Spark Man to deal with in that game.
