More Jagged Alliance 3 tonight, got the two remaining enemies at the fort, claiming back that sector. Made it to the main land, did a battle, and reclaimed a diamond mine from the enemy. That mine will earn money in the game.

@Sunsy That's lovely. Similarly, I'm listening to oldies while I'm writing this. Ah sorry, that's on me. I have a tendency to read quickly. I've not played much of Mario + Rabbids either... and it's been ages since I last played it. That's cool, I've played some turn-based strategy games, though it isn't one of my favorite genres, admittedly. I overthink a lot when I play them. Perhaps that's why I didn't put too much time into M+R... I'd have to be in the right mindset to play games like this.

Favorite games: Super Mario 3D World, Animal Crossing: New Horizons
Playing: Hollow Knight

Ask if you want to be Switch friends with me, but I'd like to know you first. Thanks! ❤️

I have over 100 trophies in Super Smash Bros. Melee now, and I have finished my 100th sidequest in Pokémon Legends Z-A today.

I just started Divinity Original Sin 2 for the first time. With the recent upgrade for Switch 2, it was a no brainer to finally dive into the game. I just completed the first chapter; if it keeps up the pace I may have another all-time favorite games.

Having just beaten Metroid Prime 4: Beyond on NS2, Pragmata Sketchbook demo on SD, Final Fantasy VII Intergrade demo on NS2, I've been playing Cyberpunk 2077 [NS2] and Divinity Original Sin 2 [NS2]. And a bit of WarioWorld [NS2: GC].

@Kraven
I am also playing Divinity Original Sin 2 on NS2. It's so in depth it can be overwhelming but if you watch some guides on getting started it helps so much. I really disliked how party members who die stay dead unless you have a resurrection scroll to bring them back, but then I learned about all the included "Gift Bag" mods, one of which brings back fallen party members any time you sleep in a bedroll.

Another can increase your Action Points from 4 to 8, another can restore Source Points when you rest. One lets the reputation and skill of the whole party help when you haggle. One even gives you bespoke bags for item types and lets your inventory auto sort into those bags, then you can assign the bags to 2 rows of your hotbar to easily access. That's so good! And there's many others.

Good video to watch for anyone new to Divinity Original Sin 2 below. But absolutely open the menu and turn on those Gift Bag mods to make the game more accessible.

Mega Man 11 (NS)

It's been a lot better than I was actually expecting it to be, and I don't think Mega Man has ever controlled anywhere near this good. You feel like you're one with the controller. Unlike MM7 & MM8, or with his earlier outings like 1&2 before Capcom eventually nailed MM's 8-bit controls with 3-6 & 9+10.

Although, 11's soundtrack I'm finding so far isn't one of the strongest in the series... It takes on a more modern techno rave-like ambience that tends to linger into nearly every track. So far, Acid & Torch Man's themes have been the stand outs. And I'm glad it's no slouch in the difficulty department. Capcom Isn't messing around, even on normal difficutly. It's a toughy!

But I'm not entirely sure how i feel about the new Gear System. Takes some time to adjust to and I'll admit it does feel satisfying at times to go full on slow-mo and oblitertate the crap out of enemeis.

So far, I'd rank it as one of the best in the series. It blows the lid off MM10, which admittedly was one of the weak points in the traditional series for me personally, along side 4 & 6. 10 had this almost unshakable sad depressing tone through out and I couldn't help feel like Capcom was just going through the motions with that one. it was completely void of what made MM9 so special.

Having just finished MP4, I thought I’d fire up the latest GameCube drop in Wario World. Only played the first level, but so far so good.

@WaveBoy I bought that game today. I did play a demo of it years ago but besides that I have never played it. I guess the news of Mega Man 12 made me want to play a Mega Man game but unfortunately the only other Mega Man games I have is the "lag'ecy edition and those just dont feel right. So I figure I give this game a try.

Ya man, Those LAGacy collections are total trash, with the exception of 9&10, just because they're direct WiiWare ports and not emulations. So there's no additional latency, and they play just as perfectly as they did back on Wii. It just sucks that Capcom flubbed the CRT filter for both L1&2. Especially L1, since they applied weird motion ghosting to the CRT filter. I don't rember any of my 80's & 90's CRT's suffering from ghosting. That's a primative LCD-thing. Lol

I wish somebody would create Reproduction NES Carts for 9&10 to be played on NES with a CRT. I'd buy 9 on NES in a heart beat! Anyways, I'm really enjoying 11. Capcom clearly trimmed down the budget just a 'little'. The Cutscenes involving mega & friends could of been livelier for example, but i think it may of also been purposely held back to accomodate the Switch port. I'm not entirely sure.

Soundtrack has been more miss than hit, and the item shop essentially feels like a CHEAT shop. lol Nearly every item you purchase or upgrade over powers Mega Man completely and basically makes you immune to death pits and spikes. I would of rather of seen a Metroid-like upgrade system(Then again, we have robot master weapons to aquire and Rush abbilities.) instead of cheat items that make you completely overpowered. It's not a gradual build up in terms of upgrading your abilities as you progress.

And even though 11 is boasting modern graphics, wide screen, 1080p, The new Gear System, Bosses can also transform or power up with their own gear system, so far, it does feel a pinch stale. Like I've been here before. I really hope Capcom swich's things up with MM12. I'm getting a little tired of the classic Mega Man formula. Needs a huge dose of innovation and surprises.

After 12, i hope we get Legends 3 or a 3D/3rd person Mega Man game, instead of another semi 2D traditional retread.

ill be giving it a whirl in a couple of hours. Based on what little I've played from before it felt a slight nod to Mario 2 but less challenging. Also, selecting 8-bit mode is manditory. Lol

Just Finished it last night. It's like a 6/10. If you grew up watching the Rugrats cartoon back in the early to mid 90's and can get it on sale I'd say it might be worth giving it a shot.

Unlocked Mewtu in Super Smash Bros. Melee today. Only one more character is missing now. I am also trying to get 1000 Vs. matches, around 500 matches against Bowser and around 500 matches against Ganondorf. It is quite relaxing.

More Sonic Rumble, won a match and also started the Godzilla crossover event. The game now has a level where you have to dodge Godzilla's attacks. Yes, we have an official crossover where Godzilla attacks Sonic characters.

Also, bought Parking Garage Rally Circuit on Steam. Loving this one so far, it's a racing game with tracks set up around parking garages. The point is to beat the times for each track. To keep up, you have to drift a lot to get boosts. It's fun. The standout has to be the Sega Saturn inspired graphics and the excellent ska soundtrack. It really feels like a Sega Saturn game.
