I love this game. So adorable and the bouncy platforming is hilarious. And a little dark too which just makes the cuteness even cuter. And frogs everywhere.
@StarryCiel I heard the single player was good, but the multiplayer was bad what do you think about the multiplayer? Also did you know about the games DLC?
I play lots of Nintendo games, and Playstation games too. Mostly platformers, and rpg's. Also love playing multiplayer games with my friends!

@Pastellioli I think when you were talking about the bad games in Rare Replay you were talking about the Atari(?) games, or at least most of them other then those I can't think of any other terrible ones since i haven't played most of them.

@Fizza that's great I love the first 2 Paper Mario games too, and also the 3rd one. Could not care less about the "new" Paper Mario trilogy that started on 3DS it looked like Nintendo was trying to dumb down the gameplay, story, characters, and pretty much everything else about the originals that made them great so yea heck no.

@AstralRedStar705 Yes, I am talking about the super older games, though the Atari games you are talking about were released for the ZX Spectrum, which I don’t know much about since I’m from the US, but someone on the site told me it was a home computer that was super popular in the 80s in the UK. Of course, I know very little about it.
The games that Rare’s predecesor made for the ZX Spectrum were very well received back then, but nowadays they are very hard to play and are terribly made. The isometric perspective on a few of those games are nice and pretty cool, but that’s all the good stuff I can really say about them. The games are super confusing and poorly explained, and it requires a lot of trial and error to finish them if you don’t use a playthrough. I actually played a lot of the Spectrum games on there way more than the N64 and Xbox games included (which are better quality and the best games Rare Replay has to offer) but I only really played the bad games for easy achievements and to unlock more content in the game. The one I thought was the best out of all the Spectrum games was Jetpac, since the controls aren’t awful and the goal is straightforward.
I also thought the NES games included weren’t good either, some also suffered from the same issues as the games that came before them, but not as bad as the Spectrum games.
Xenoblade Chronicles 3: Future Redeemed - I grabbed the DLC when it was on sale in June (I was planning to buy it near then anyway) and saved the best for last. I'm at the beginning of Chapter 3, where A LOT of fan stuff happened, along with an epic boss fight. I'm enjoying this earlier time in Aionios, though I doubt I'm far enough in to fully grasp what's going on yet and only have guesses. Outside of what's known from the main game. It's pretty hard to talk about this one without spoiling anything. Plot-wise, I'm hooked. Gameplay-wise, I like some of the new mechanics but also miss some of the base XC3 ones too. Great music, both new and old tracks. As usual, I'm getting sidetracked a lot with the affinity stuff players can find in the overworld.
Pushmo World - A nice side game that's easy to dive in and out of. I picked this up shortly before the Wii U eShop closed. Mechanically, this is a lot like Pushmo (or Pullblox for some folks across the pond), but with different puzzles. It's been long enough since I played any of the 3DS titles that the game feels fairly fresh. I'm about 70 puzzles in, not including some of the puzzles in Corin's training area I've finished.
Currently playing: Pokemon Scarlet DLC, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury (Switch)
Lately I've been playing quite a bit of Tetris 99. I went back to the game when the Side Order theme came out. I even got 1st place for the very first time last night!

Favorite game: Super Mario 3D World
AKA MarioVillager92. Ask if you want to be Switch friends with me, but I want to get to know you first. Thanks! ❤️
Decided to try Stumble Guys since it is free and out today. Much more of a Fall Guys clone than I realized; a lot of the stages are basically the same but easier. I keep winning, presumably because there are lots of new Switch players who never played Fall Guys so have no idea what they are doing 😆
@Pastellioli I agree with what you said about the ZX Spectrum(is that what its called) games, and I kinda agree on the NES, but I barely played those. Pretty much the only ZX game I played was Jetpac, and maybe Jetpac 2. I loved the 64 games on there, but haven't played the Xbox ones much either honestly don't know if I'll ever go back to the collection, but I still think it's one of the best game collections I've ever seen, and played.

@AstralRedStar705 Yep, you got the system name right. I have played more of the Spectrum games than NES, but from what I got from playing them and completing them, they also aren’t great. I absolutely love the N64 games, and I think those were really strong with their charm and characters, though the gameplay and controls on a few of them were hit or miss. I also have played the Xbox games, but a majority of them I haven’t completed, but I loved them a lot too! I do agree that it’s maybe one of the best game compilations made, and it has a ton of effort and charm that you can tell is super genuine and is trying to make the compilation super fun.

If you’re curious, the character in my PFP is Toothy from Happy Tree Friends.
Went back to playing Hatsune Miku: Colorful Stage! and played some of the newer songs. I need to boot up my Xbox and play Banjo-Tooie, it’s been I believe a week ever since the game club I’m in chose it and I still haven’t played it again!

Same. I haven’t touched it a lot yet. Busy with our club too.
I urge everyone to give Bakeru a look if you weren't planning on doing so already.
I know it'll probably get trampled underneath the hype for Astro Bot (probably the biggest platformer of the year) & Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom (probably the biggest Switch game of the year) since it released the same month as both, but I'm having a blast with it so far (only played through the first 5 levels though).
A few screenshots I've taken so far (playing the Steam version, but it's also available on Switch):
It's a wide linear platformer like Super Mario 3D World or Kirby and the Forgotten Land (reminds me a bit more of Kirby though, as the levels have a "sense of place" rather than being floating platforms), where each of the levels is a microcosm of one of Japan's 50 something prefectures (with nods to their individual landmarks, culture, folklore, etc.). The hidden collectables in each level come in the form of Souvenirs and factoids related to the region it's based on.
It's developed by GoodFeel, whom I believe was the developer behind Princess Peach Showtime which released earlier this year, but honestly this feels larger & more premium.

@RR529 I mostly enjoyed the demo on Switch though the game felt a bit unpolished to me. I wonder if it runs better on Steam Deck; it wasn't terrible on Switch but it certainly wasn't perfect (similar to Peach Showtime since you mentioned it although Showtime felt a bit more polished even with the performance hiccups, but that was also just the bakeru demo).
@FishyS, yeah might just be a Switch issue. Now, it isn't quite as mechanically snappy to play as a Mario or Astro Bot (though that's true of most platformers, particularly non-Nintendo ones), but I haven't had the slightest whiff of any performance issues like frame drops or anything like that.
