Wait, there's people who want main Pokemon games with more than one save slot?
That makes no sense to me.
The logic typically goes that they want one save file for their "Main" run - the game where they have their carefully picked team of six tournament-ready Pokémon and what have you; and another for just messing around... or another so they can share the game with a friend or relative without having to buy two copies. I'd argue that such things go against a lot of what makes Pokémon so enjoyable - sharing one game with a friend excludes you from trading, battling and messing around with all the other multiplayer stuff together; but £100 for a system and £40 for a game isn't exactly the kind of money people can just throw on an impulse buy, typically, so I do understand where they're coming from.
I had a really great time playing Resident Evil 6 with my brother.
I, also, really enjoyed Resi 6. I understand why people harp on about the loss of the horror aspect - but anybody expecting horror from a game where one promotional trailer featured Leon Kennedy punching a zombie really should have seen it coming and just bought Revelations instead (it does the "horror" element better, particularly if you have claustrophobia like myself). However, Resi 6 is a good, if slightly dumb, third person action game; and I really do not understand the hate.
> Super Mario 64 is a great game, but it's so over-rated and colored with nostalgia glasses. While running freely around a sparse, mostly lifeless castle was cool, the gameplay itself is nothing compared to the epic innovation in Galaxy. Of course 64 had to happen first in order to lead us to Galaxy, but I think of it like the original Super Mario bros. trilogy on NES. While the original Super Mario Bros. is iconic and great in it's own right, it took Nintendo to Super Mario Bros. 3 to create something truly timeless and fleshed out in a 2d platforming world.
Oddly enough, I've always used this sort of comparison. Super Mario 64 is the 3D equivalent of Super Mario Bros, a classic that started a series. Super Mario Sunshine is like Super Mario Bros 2 (the US one), being the most obscure of the series. Super Mario Galaxy is Super Mario Bros 3, using everything we love about the previous entries and adding buckets of awesomeness. Super Mario Galaxy 2 is like Super Mario World, adding Yoshi to the awesomeness (though Sunshine had Yoshi, it wasn't the same).
Feel free to add me on the Nintendo Network: ShadJV
Here's my 3DS FC, always looking for Pokemon X Friend Safaris: 2191-7643-5167

That reminds me of another entry for my list:
> Super Mario Bros. 3 is my least favorite Mario game on the NES.
Recent scores of Nintendo sequels/remakes have been a bit on the high side.
Violence in Mario games turns children into animal killers
EA are really missed on Nintendo
EA should get more officially licensed games (not sports)
Nintendo should have every track in the history of Mario Kart available as paid DLC on day one for MK8
Nintendo should make F-Zero a DLC for Mario Kart
@Miss_Dark Actually, there are probably more COD haters than COD lovers. So, don't worry, you're not alone.
Anyways...
I think Team Fortress 2 is overrated. Don't get me wrong, it's a great game, but it simply wasn't as good as everyone was making it out to be. And I can't understand why people like hat collecting so much.
I think that that most of the first Ninja Gaiden is pretty easy.
And finally, I think that MOST retro games are crap, and that it's just nostalgia that makes people love them so much.
I'm really running out of ideas for my signature.
I've got the power! The Hidden Power!
I used to run on blast processing. Now I'm 64-bit.
Currently playing: ARK: Survival Evolved, Splatoon I AM STILL NEAR-PERFECT!!!
@Miss_Dark Well, for me, the old COD games were pretty good. Especially COD 4. Just... Wow! I can't exactly pinpoint when, but there was a turning point where COD started to absolutely SUCK. Maybe it was around MW2 or 3, but I just sort of lost interest in COD. I can't really judge Goldeneye and Perfect Dark, as I haven't played them, but in my opinion, old-school FPS>most modern FPS.

I'm not one of those "pokemon haters" for Super Smash Bros. but I have to say I think Greninja is stupid. He's hardly a seasoned veteran for Nintendo, and I think there are just so many other good characters that they could have used for his roster slot. I mean why not get Konami to allow a retro styled Simon Belmont? Balloon Fighter? Isaac from Golden Sun? Namco Bandai is helping the development of the game, throw Pac Man in there, or Lloyd from Tales of Symphonia!
This is going to sound really harsh but I hate when companies that aren't just upstarts (like Renegade Kid and Wayforward) use Kickstarter to rely on their fans for cash. I don't understand why RK wouldn't wait to fund Cult County off the sales of Treasurenauts and/or Moon Chronicles, and then maybe if they still honestly didn't have enough consider reaching out to fans to make up the difference. I hope they're still able to make it, but they need to learn something from their campaign.
I actually feel the same.
It's even worse with Cult County when you consider they probably ditched the original 3DS version to justify the kickstarter.

As if Lucario, Mewtwo, Ike, etc. are supposed to be "seasoned veterans"?

While I like Greninja, I was hoping for Isaac or Shulk or Balloon Fighter...,although Villager's recovery means no Balloon Fighter...
I honestly think that the vast majority of the Wii's games would have been better without the Motion controls. Donkey Kong Country Returns, Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2

Well I personally don't agree with Lucario either, I think he's fun to play, but Pokemon are tricky in my opinion to label as a character. If you go off just the games then most Pokemon are pretty shapeless when it comes to personality. When it comes to the anime and movies it's a different story. Jigglypuff is iffy, but Pikachu is a huge mascot for Nintendo, he's the face of Pokemon. Mewtwo was a main antagonist in the first Pokemon movie, and the final goal of the original games, so I think he can be considered an iconic veteran in Nintendo's roster. Lucario, and Greninja I don't think really deserve to be there. The Pokemon Trainer was a bit different as he was technically the protagonist from the first games and the original starters are very iconic to many people.
